We have now run off six of the last  7 days with official
high temperatures more appropriate for early-June than
late-April.

We'll have two more in the 70s before a showey nd
possibly thundery cold front arrives for the weekend.
Thje retreat to more normal temperatures this weekend
will be followed by several days with below normal
temperatures early next week.

There will be the potentail for some hefty thundersorms
from late-Friday into Saturady A.M., so stay tuned.

woollybear, thank you for your post here on Fox8. Dick you are my hero, you know everything there is to know about weather. I like the fact that you care about animals more than I do and as much as anybody here in town. God bless you and your family from Karl.

It has been nice here in New Hampshire the last week, even though they are predicting rain for the rest of the weekend. I really miss watching you doing the weather as we have some good weather people up here, but they are not you.

I have been a meteorologist since my Air Force days in the 1950's. I have a BFA from Kent State University. My daughter, Kimberly, lives in Florida. My great passion is animal welfare. I have four cats and share a dog with Toni Garbo, our managing editor. I own the middle of our dog, Jack, and Toni is in charge of both ends (that's a great arrangement!)
