I never heard of Uncle Sam giving anything away for free.
I have a feeling that Uncle Sam Will Get His Tax Money BACK NEXT TAX SEASON.
Receive & Spend This Year = Payback Next Year

"Twas the night before christmas, he lived all alone,
in a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone.
I had come down the chimmey with presents to give,
and to see just who in this home did live.
I looked all about, a strange sight I did see,
no tinsel, no presents, not even a tree.
No stockings by the mantle, just boots filled with sand,
on a wall hung pictures of far distant lands.
With medals and badges, awards of all kinds,
a sober thought came through my mind.
For this house was different, it was dark and dreary,
I found the home of a soldier, once I could see clearly.
The soldier lay sleeping, silent, alone,
curled up on the floor in this one bedroom home.
The face was so gentle, the room in such disorder,
not how I picture a United States Soldier.
Was this the hero of whom I'd just read?
Curled up on a poncho, the floor for a bed?
I realized the families that I saw this night
owed their lives to these soldiers who were willing to fight.
Soon around the world, the children would play,
and grownups would celebrate a bright christmas day.
They all enjoyed freedom each month of the year,
because of the soldiers, like the one lying here.
I couldn't help wonder how many lay alone,
on a cold christmas eve in a land far from home.
The very thought brought a tear to my eye,
I dropped to my knees and started to cry.
The soldier awakened and I heard a rough voice,
"Santa don't cry, this is my choice.
I fight for freedom, I dont ask for more.
My life is my God, my Country, my Corps."
The soldier rolled over and drifted to sleep,
I could not control it, I continued to weep.
I kept watch for hours, so silent and still
and we both shivered from the cold night's chill.
I didn't want to leave on that cold, dark, night,
this guardian of honor so willing to fight.
Then the soldier rolled over, with a voice soft and pure,
whispered,"Carry on Santa, It's Christmas day, all is secure."
One look at my watch and I knew he was right.
"Merry Christmas my friend, and to all a good night".

I believe you should have spent the Money for the New Set elsewhere. In my eyes, it's overkill.
Are you going into the Movie-Making Business with all of that equipment?? Stick to the News and Not the Look.
You may also think about changing the name of the Morning Show to: FOX 8 Entertainment In The Morning.
2 minutes of News and then off to all the entertainment. After 9 am is ALL Entertainment & Garbage Programs, that's when my TV get's shut-off.

Now this is my opinion...
I believe the "Constitution" should include a Clause at the very beginning stating:
"Freedom of Speech is subject to change Without Notice"
WHY??
Anymore, you MUST watch what you say. There is No Freedom of Speech any longer.
If one does state their opinion, watchout, You May Be In BIG TROUBLE!

If I were an employer...
Sure! Take as much time off as you wish to take care of your pet while it's sick.
When you return to work, just clean off your desk or locker and go back home to start looking for another job.
Now I'm an animal lover but this is Totally Unbelievable!!

Shutting down schools because it's cold??
Back when I was a youngster, that was unheard of.
Now if there's no heat or water, that's understandable, but because parents/children don't have clothes??
Don't people realize that they live in Northern Ohio??

Ok now, smoking is banned in all public places.
We can't do anything about it now, it's the Law.
Now an 800 number to turn people in who do light up??
I can see the number ringing off the hook. Just like young children... I'm telling on you : )
Why not Ban Cell Phones in Public Places??
Some city's have done it to drivers!
Some Judges have done it in Courtrooms!
Hospitals have done it, although, in this area, I've seen employees walking around talking on Cell Phones. I guess it's a "Do as I say and not as I do" thing.
People Are Very Inconsiderate Of Others In This Area!
How many people want to hear other's conversations while you're waiting in line at the store or other Public places??
Can't you wait till you get outside in private??
Technology is Great BUT...
What about all these people who have phones growing out of their heads 24/7??? And to top it off, They Can Not Do 2 Things At Once!
I had to wait for a lady at the checkout counter the other day to finish talking before she could pay the clerk. What was so important?? Her boyfriend was cheating on her. Everyone heard her talking, it was no big secret. I said to her, "move on with your life and drop him". She told me to mind my own business. I just looked at her and smiled. If she didn't want any feedback, she should have waited till she was alone instead of having everyone in line hearing about her personal problems.
So let's hear if anyone else has been annoyed with others experiences using cell phones in public.

Hi All,
Isn't it against the law to buy those Play Stations
just to resell them??
Do these people have a Venders License?
Does the IRS know about this? I'm quite sure they are
Not paying taxes on the money made from these sales.
Everything today is All About Money.
Any feedback is welcomed.

Well, I hate to say it, around 1:35 pm we had a short blizzard here in Lorain.
I looked out the window to see if anything was blowing away, when low and behold, there wasn't just a little flurry, it was a blizzard.
Didn't last long but we had our first snow. Then the sun came out. I'm glad I got the plants in yesterday.
Burrrrrrrr
