It's all about the Tribe now, not Lebron

After a great Indians Victory last night I turned on the radio this morning and the first thing I hear is the deejays on 98.5 complaining about Lebron being a Yankee fan, and that he's not showing cleveland any love.  WoW, what did I miss? I mean isn't it all about the Indians winning. I think Lebron has shown Cleveland a great deal of love. (The Eastern Conference Championship). I personally don't care who he roots for, just long as he keeps bringing those championships home. Let's be greatful for what we have and learn to enjoy it rather that find something negetive to sully the event. Although I'm a Yankees Fan (since 1977) I say Good Game Tribe.

Thank you someone else who has common sense!! Who really cares who Lebron roots for outside of basketball. Just because he plays for the Cavs does not mean he can not have favorites outside of Cleveland. I actually have alot of respect for him for wearing the yankees hat and going to the game. If he has always been a NY fan than why should he have to change it because he plays for us, a different sport at that. I bet that if you were to ask most of the players whether it be from baseball, basketball or football what teams they root for and are fans of most of them will say other teams besides our own, so what's the big deal. As long as he does his job, which he does very well, who cares. People are just being petty.

I give him more credit for being a true Yankees fan and not just wearing the Yankees apparel as has become "the thing to do" for african-american celebrities from sports players to rappers. I'm glad he's not just wearing it because it's what everyone else is doing.

As for him being a Yankees fan, who really cares? There are Steelers fans all over Northeast Ohio who love the Indians or Cavs -- no one says anything to them.

I think that shows to mentality of many people today,and they are all adults,a person can support who ever they chooses, I am sure if someone wore another NBA teams hat to a cavs game Lebron wouldnt cry about it.
