bail out taxpayers to help economy

I am sick of hearing how govt should bail out all of the banks, now the car companies, and now schools ( who would be most deserving) want to get their piece, well what about ME and the rest of hard working americans who are the ones who make this economy run. If we dont have money, we cannot take out loans or save for cars, homes etc to help out banks or car manufacturers. If govt gave gave taxpayers 100,000+ each, ( or what ever the equivelent to what they are throwing to the banks and manufacturers) and then we could pay off homes, get out of debt and then have $$ to spend buying cars etc thus boosting the economy. Right now we are just throwing good money after bad, giving it to institutions who obviously cannot manage their money properly. Give us a chance!!!

prayers go out to the steven curtis chapman family, for the tragic loss of their little girl. what a tragic accident. i pray for the brother who accidently hit her, what a horrible accident He needs to know that he is loved and that he is forgiven. it is a reminder we all need to be careful pulling in and out of our driveways and when visiting , it can happen in a second!!

i am a school board member and while we have a no tolerance policy as well, i would hope and expect that if faced with similar situation as a child eating with a sharp knife, a principal would use common sense, take the child and knife and call the parents NOT the cops for pete sakes. use common sense!! why tramatize a child over what i am sure they thought was an innocent action, thinking that she might need to cut her meat, and brought a sharp knife to school. yea it was stupid, but that is what kids are a lot of times! they do not think! give them a break and then maybe wont be so many that buck the system
it is over reactions such as this that give schools and law enforcement a bad name, all because someone doesnt use common sense when dealing with a situation such as this

those who stood by and watched that poor man be beat should have been arrested( if they had still been around ) They were just as guilty as the man who did the beating!! they aided and abetted him as they stood and watched him commit that terrible crime. I hope that they realize that they can live with themselves!
The story about the boy who was told to color in the part on his head was INSANE. I am on a school board and If I was in that school district I would be at the next board meeting calling for the job of whoever made that call! USE COMMON SENSE!!! My God, kids are bringing guns to school and this person was worried about a boys part!!!! that is totally crazy! Get the priorities straight!, teach the kids quit badgering them for petty things!! If they worried half as much about their test scores etc as they did this kids part and other petty things , then maybe this school would be really excelling!
Baby Cloe, not fetus

i find it very disgusting and heartless to call the baby that Jessie was carrying a fetus, now that she has been found dead. In all newscasts during search it was all about jessie and the baby now it is just about jessie and the fetus she was carrying. There is no difference between then and now, it is still a baby, it was a living breathing growing human being of which, mr cutts will be charged for murder.
I hope that these sort of labels will be changed soon, how horrible for Jessie's family to hear their precious granddaughter called a fetus!

i was at CI CI;s pizza and saw the news but didnt see or hear any real reason why cutts was arrested. Did they find something at his place or at the scene or are they just assuming that he did it? sorry am not caught up on this I have been following this but took a day off out with my family.
My prayers and heart goes out to the entire family especially her little boy!!! God bless them!

this is a great idea but the problem is that they will just use someone else's car. i saw an example of this, a man had a truck with yellow dui plates, but it sat in his driveway all the time while he used someone else;s car to run around in. so how to monitor that?????

I love Fox 8 but am getting really disgusted with the 10:00 news and their teasers to keep us tuned in, I am waiting to go to bed but see that there is an important recall or an important story about the weather or medication etc. Instead of doing the right thing for the public and airing these quickly, they make us sit through other less important stories and commercials, till after 10: 30. Well I usually give up and go to bed or switch the channel to another news station, tho i hate doing that. I fthey really cared about the public they would make sure that the serious, important news would get out there as soon as possible instead of using it to insure they keep their audience and keep ratings.
The 10:00 news is getting as bad as the old Saturday night live, with commercials after every 2 stories, I dont have time to waste sitting through teasing and commercials. It is a real shame and I hope this changes or Fox 8 may start losing a once captive audience.

i am appalled that a dr, would torture a dog by inducing a brain anuerism just for a bunch of salemen! I would demand that his name be released because I for one would not want him as my dr or the dr of a loved one, who's to say he wouldnt use a patient for another experiment?!! I hope that the cleveland clinic deals with this person harshly, otherwise they will be tarnishing their great reputation.
