tattoos are not just a sign of rebellion but a sign or individuality.  I know a wonderful person who has many , most all representing his faith in GOD. Some just want to show their feelings or beliefs etc on their bodies,  not my cup of tea but hey  who am I or YOU to judge,  leave that up to GOD

I seen another posting about tattoos and i agree with what you say, you can't judge a book by the cover.
As for the other posting she said she has a tattoo on her lower back, some people call that type on the lower back not so nice wording so I really don't think she should judge anyone.

I know a woman that had a butterfly on her breast in the 60's now it looks like a buzzard.

tattoos are an individual thing. not for everyone, but hey neither is coffee or tea.

IMO, yes there are those who have gone way overboard with them but, again that is an individual thing, and to them not having one inch of skin not tattooed is not overboard.

once the shelter gets to a point that we can hire people, would we hire someone who has tatoos and piercings? yes.

tatoos and piercings do not make the person, do not make the worker.

just because a person is in a designer suit, and looks like he stepped out of GQ, or she looks like a board CEO, doens't make them a good person, an honest person, or a good employee, or even someone who should work with the public.

our society is very image driven, but who's idea of the image are we all trying to be like?

perhaps someday we will be able to accept one another no matter what we choose to look like.

who knows, stranger things have happend in life.

i work at chick fil a, I am also a school board member , a mom of 3 , wife of 21 years and do child care in my home. I run a "mom's taxi service " for those mom;'s or sitters who cannot transport kids to and from school. I am very busy with my church, teaching preschool kids club. I love Fox 8.
