prayers go out to the steven curtis chapman family, for the tragic loss of their little girl. what a tragic accident. i pray for the brother who accidently hit her, what a horrible accident  He needs to know  that  he is loved and  that  he is forgiven.   it is  a reminder we all need to be careful  pulling in and out of our driveways and when visiting ,  it can happen in a second!!

GOd bless this family.

I saw pics that vanity fair did of Miley and  i was more concerned by the tons of makeup making her look more adult/trampy than the outfits.  you see more skin on commercials and on the beach for pete's sake.    Also the ones of her and  her dad were nice,  it is nice- not dirty- to see a daughter and father have a close, loving relationship.  I am so sick of people. the media turning  innocent, or otherwise   decent people into  trash just by them expressing their opinion which makes everything " dirty". I have an old picture of my son in a bra  just goofing around, what would they say about him if he was famous???

I was so impressed by MIley;s thanking God and God Blessing everyone at the Kids choice awards on Nickelodeon since I have heard her dad  talk about his faith etc. it is good to know she has some roots in the faith as well. of course anyone can say those things, but knowing her family has those values, makes you more likely to believe she is sincere.      People just need to leave the kid alone,  but i too pray that she will remain strong and her family will continue to hold her to those strong values and not give into the media and pressure of the world, and continue to be a great role model for young girls unlike, Britney, Jaime Lynn and Lindsay, all who may not have had a strong family rooted in Faith and to back them up.  It is a shame all that talent going to waste,

Just leave the girl alone, let her be 15 and support her not condemn her.

God Bless Miley and the Cyrus Family.

I recently heard a pastor say that global warming wasnt true, I couldnt get a chance to ask him why he said that so thought I would ask Andre, since maybe he could give us an idea why a Pastor might say this or if he knows something we dont!

i am a school board member and while we have a no tolerance policy as well,  i would hope and expect  that if faced with similar situation as a child eating with a  sharp knife,  a principal would use common sense, take the child and knife and call the parents NOT the cops for pete sakes. use common sense!!    why tramatize a child over what i am sure they thought was an innocent action,  thinking that she might need to cut her meat, and brought a sharp knife to school.  yea it was stupid, but that is what kids are a lot of times!  they do not think!  give them a break and then maybe wont be so many that buck the system

it is over reactions such as this that give schools and law enforcement a bad name, all because someone  doesnt use common sense when dealing with a situation such as this

For the last few years my youth group has been a part of a youth outing called Superbowl put on by Word of Life Fellowship which supports kids clubs in churches world wide.
During the Superbowl, students and leaders from all over Ohio come to the arena to watch the game, then when it is over they listen to a evangelistic message,at the arena, then participate in games, pizza party etc before heading out to all night events at area bowling alleys around Cleveland and other activities till 5 am.
The reason I am writing is because the CAVS  have been nothing but greedy and arrogant through the whole process working with our area missionaries.
We could go to another sports team, but
The reason they are sticking with the CAVS is because more kids will come and therefore they have the potential to reach many for the cause of Christ.
The CAVS basically told them they didnt need our money, they can sell tickets, they would not cooperate in a timely manner, wont guarantee where the groups will be seated, if together etc. They refuse to give any sort of discount even for the nosebleed seats that they give us even so, these kids are struggling  to shell out over 53.00 each for the evening. it may seem like a little but not for many of these families or those that have more than 1 child and also doesnt include transportation or food.
I just felt that someone needed to  hear how the CAVS have treated some of their fans, it seems that they only treat them well, as long as they can or are willing to pay what they want, otherwise, it is " See ya! we dont need ya!"
I will not support the CAVS again next year if Superbowl is held with the CAVS, while i support Word of Life, I refuse to support an organization that is more interested in taking kids money than it is to give kids a break.
I hope the Cavs either get a heart  or that Word of Life moves back to the CSU Vikings or another team that truly cares about their fans.  ALL Their Fans!!!

Ellen should be praised for giving the dog that she adopted a good home. These dog rescue groups go way overboard on their rules and rights and contracts etc.  It is a DOG for pete's sake!  Once a dog is adopted they should have no rights to say what happens to it,  if abuse etc then courts will deal with it, but here is Ellen finding out  she cannot keep the dog and , doing the  rescue group's job, was responsible to find it a good home so they wouldnt  have to. Then the group harrasses her!  If i were  her I would be suing them for harrassment and mental anquish!

I have gone to petfinder to find a pet and the contracts, rules etc that these groups expect people to go through is why  there are so many animals in shelters, it is almost worse than  adopting a child!

I hope that  that little girl gets the dog back, and that maybe courts etc will start looking into the way these groups  adopt their animals out.  it is just plain harrassment!

tattoos are not just a sign of rebellion but a sign or individuality.  I know a wonderful person who has many , most all representing his faith in GOD. Some just want to show their feelings or beliefs etc on their bodies,  not my cup of tea but hey  who am I or YOU to judge,  leave that up to GOD

those who stood by and watched that poor man be beat should have been arrested( if they had still been around )  They were just as guilty as the man who did the beating!! they aided and abetted him as they stood and watched him commit that terrible crime. I hope that they realize that they can live with themselves!

I am a huge Steeler fan but if the Browns would ever  get going, would root for them too!    Maybe this weekend's game will be  a good one with Brady as quarterback.

wouldnt it be something if Cowher came  to Cleveland!!  they would HAVE to root for the Browns!!!!

The story about the boy who was told to color in the part on his head was INSANE.  I am on a school board and  If I was in that school district I would be at the  next board meeting calling for the job of whoever made that call!  USE COMMON SENSE!!!  My God,  kids are bringing guns to school and this person was worried about a boys part!!!!  that is totally crazy!    Get the priorities straight!,  teach the kids quit badgering them for petty things!!   If they worried half as much about their test scores etc as they did this kids part and other petty things , then maybe this school would be really excelling!

i find it very disgusting and heartless to call  the baby that Jessie was carrying a fetus, now that she has been found dead. In all newscasts during search it was all about jessie and the baby    now it is just about  jessie and the fetus she was carrying. There is no difference between then and now, it is still a baby, it was a living breathing growing human being  of which,  mr cutts will be charged for murder.

I hope that  these sort of labels will be changed soon,  how horrible for Jessie's family to hear their precious granddaughter called a fetus!

Fox 8  you can do better!!!

My prayers and heart goes out to the entire family especially her little boy!!!  God bless them!

this is a great idea but the problem is that they will just use someone else's car. i saw an example of this,  a man had a truck with yellow dui plates, but it sat in his driveway all the time while he used someone else;s car to run around in.  so how to monitor that?????
