I just would like to tell everyone about a great company, Cannon, They were great to me.  I had a camera that I have had for years,, and it quit working. I went on their web site and found that my camera had a record of problems and the company said that it was due to some parts in it, so they said they would have me send it to them free of charge and if it was what they thougt it would be free of charge to fix it also, no mind you it was more than 4 years old, I thought "right they will something wrong that will cost more than the camera", No, they did not do that, they kept me updated on their progress and what they found, and all they found was the part defects, then they let me know it was on the way back to me,, in about a week,, But when I opened it,, I found a letter that said that it would have taken too long to fix my camera because of its age so, They sent me a new camera,, well refurbished,, but better than my old one and with all the parts that go with a new camera,, It was awsome, a company that stands behind its products, and takes care of you even after all these years that I owed it!! Cannon is a great company in my book and I just wanted everyone to know what is was like to have a company stand behind camera and take care of their customers when they found out it was a part defect, even after 4 years and the warrenty was way over!!  I hope my camera last forever,, but if it doesn't I will be buying another Cannon product for sure!!

I agree. I am a photographer and my current two cameras that I am using are Canon Rebels, film camera and digital camera. I have owned many different cameras over the years, (Minolta, Mamiya, Nikon, etc.), but personally, I like Canon the best.

That's what you call good old American Customer Service. I used to work at Sears in the Office Equipment and Camera Department and we sold Cannons and Polaroids. We always took those cameras back because we knew that we wouldn't have any problem returning the defective merchandise back to the manufactuer and receiving credit. Nice to see that there are companies still in the "customer service" business.

Mr. Coffee also has great customer service. I bought a very expensive coffee pot, and had it for less than a year. Of course I didn't send in the warranty card! It quit working, and I called them. I was pretty upset to spend that much $ for a coffee pot to have it break in less than a year. The woman was very nice. She asked me for a stamped # on the plug. I gave it to her along with my address. Within a week I recieved a brand new pot! I was so thankful I called them to say thanks for having such a great customer service. I truely was surprised.

Cannon rocks. It is really sad when it is a surprise when you get good customer service and a company stands behind their products.

I agree. I work for a photo business that has over 20 full-time professional photographers. We use over $100,000 in Canon camera equipment for all of our "candid" work. We have 10D, 20D, 30D, 5D, and Mark5 cameras. My favorite is the 30D.
