During my vacation this week, my wife and I went on a day trip up to Mt. Washington.  We took the auto road up to the summit and looked around.  I found the weather aspect of the trip extremly facinating as it was windy and around 34 degrees on the summit.  They have been monitoring weather patterns up there for over 100 years.  Some of the highest winds ever recorded was at Mt. Washington.  They have a museum in the main summit building with some of the different weather observations listed there.  Also, they have a seperate Mt. Washington Weather Museum in North Conway on the main road (St. Route 16).  By the way, when we started up the auto road the temperature was 63 degrees near the toll booth.

I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Ashland High School. I'm a big Cleveland sports fan as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets. I keep up with the Indians and the Cavs on WTAM. I also love reading online newspapers as that is the main way I keep up with what is going on in Ohio. I am a conservative that relies on websites like the Ashbrook Center and talk radio to get most of my news of the day. I live in Derry, NH; and work at a postal facility in Nashua, NH. I go to Manchester, Providence, Pawtucket, and Portland, Maine; to watch minor league baseball and hockey to relax and to see the future major league baseball or hockey players.
