While Ohio was digging out from the storm of the weekend, I was driving up to Lewiston, Maine to watch the Quebec Junior Major game between the St John's Fog Devils and the Lewiston Mainiacs. It was amazing the amount of snow still on the ground in Maine...after the rain we had on Friday in the region. The Maineiacs won the penalty filled game 3-1 before a sellout crowd. It was also their last regular season home game before the playoffs. The best player of the game was Jonathan Bernier who will be playing for the Los Angeles Kings within a couple of seasons. The drive was relaxing but long as I was going on around 5 hours of sleep.

I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Ashland High School. I'm a big Cleveland sports fan as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets. I keep up with the Indians and the Cavs on WTAM. I also love reading online newspapers as that is the main way I keep up with what is going on in Ohio. I am a conservative that relies on websites like the Ashbrook Center and talk radio to get most of my news of the day. I live in Derry, NH; and work at a postal facility in Nashua, NH. I go to Manchester, Providence, Pawtucket, and Portland, Maine; to watch minor league baseball and hockey to relax and to see the future major league baseball or hockey players.
