On the front page of yesterday's Sunday News from Manchester, NH., the major story was the amount of snow we have recieved for the winter.  Officially from the main reporting station in Concord, we have recieved a whopping 108.9" of snow.  The average snowfall for New Hampshire in the winter is 64.6" of snow.  Last month we recieved a total of 33.1" of snow which is almost triple the normal amount of 12.9" of snow.  Of course the ski resorts love the snow, but the last who Fridays it was hard to get to the north country because of the storms we have had.  Of course, a lot of towns are way over budget for snow removal as we had record snow in December of 44.5" and in January of 22.9" of the white stuff.  Of course we are suppose to get mild weather the next two days then the ice will hit tomorrow night during the overnight.  Oh well, spring is really close as we may get rid of the snow hopefulle before the baseball season begins.

I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Ashland High School. I'm a big Cleveland sports fan as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets. I keep up with the Indians and the Cavs on WTAM. I also love reading online newspapers as that is the main way I keep up with what is going on in Ohio. I am a conservative that relies on websites like the Ashbrook Center and talk radio to get most of my news of the day. I live in Derry, NH; and work at a postal facility in Nashua, NH. I go to Manchester, Providence, Pawtucket, and Portland, Maine; to watch minor league baseball and hockey to relax and to see the future major league baseball or hockey players.
