Having lived in different areas of the United States, I got to see a lot of different weather.  Of course, growing up around Ashland, I was very blessed to see some of the better meteologists in the country like Wally Kinnan on the weekends on another station and of course Dick Goddard.  I learned a lot from watching Dick and Wally about the different patterns of the weather in Northern Ohio.  With the beginnings of cable I got to see a young Dale Nelson in Columbus, which ended up going to Corpus Christi, Texas, to become one of the best in South Texas.  Dale is the best in explaining the nuances of how a hurricane develops and knowing where the path of the hurricane will go.  Now in the Northeast, you have many different weather patterns and the best group of meteologists are on the Fox affiliate in Boston.  My interest in weather has never wavered, and when I go back to Ohio for a visit, I will sit at my uncle's house and watch the weather on Fox 8 with him.  Even though we see Andre mostly, our favorite is Dick Goddard.

I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Ashland High School. I'm a big Cleveland sports fan as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets. I keep up with the Indians and the Cavs on WTAM. I also love reading online newspapers as that is the main way I keep up with what is going on in Ohio. I am a conservative that relies on websites like the Ashbrook Center and talk radio to get most of my news of the day. I live in Derry, NH; and work at a postal facility in Nashua, NH. I go to Manchester, Providence, Pawtucket, and Portland, Maine; to watch minor league baseball and hockey to relax and to see the future major league baseball or hockey players.
