I,being a truck driver(owner operator)have seen a lot of s*** on these roads of ours going from state to state,but this one may stay with me for a while.I was coming out of Wisconsin,and in my mirror I noticed this car coming up the hammer lane at what seemed to be a high rate of speed.Sure enough,he was traveling at a speed of 90 mph or more,my guess,I know 'cause me and a buddy were cranking 70-75 mph each ( shhhh , you did not hear that ).Here was this red Honda Civic,( boom boom system cranked up ),(semi truck tailpipe),( you've all seen this i'm sure ),passed us like we were parked vehicles,what caught my eye,was in the back seat were two children,one in a baby seat.I thought to myself,what a blooming idiot this guy is,maybe he was in full bloom,I don't know.Me and my buddy talked on the c.b. about this one,and warned other drivers ahead to beware of this car,which we were thanked for.We pulled off into a Flying J stop,fuel up and grab a bite.While sitting there waiting for food to be served,we heard these two others walking in talking about this really bad crash,one of them who witnessed it.He mentioned that this red Honda car of some sort was reported of weaving in and out of traffic,glanced off of one car,hit another,and caromed into a bridge pillar ripping the car in two and seeing a child seat,with a child in it fly out of the car and landing roughly 50 yards from the scene of crash.He also mentioned of another body,thought to be a child,due to size,flying out of the car only to be run over by one of the other cars that were involved.I felt this lump in my throat and about half lost my appetite,me and my bud looked at each other and shook our heads in dis-belief,we had just seen this car before we got off.We told the others in there that we were the ones who reported it,that was about all we could do,short of sliding over and blocking the lane to slow him down,but he could have rear ended one of us,never know.Tragic outcome,so people do yourselves a favor, and slow down,the lives you save could be your own,let alone your childs.Would you like this real event to happen to you ?????.

As everybody knows by know,( unless you live in another world ) , fuel / diesel prices are at all time highs with no relief in sight . The buzz throughout the trucking industry is calling out for a nationwide strike,it's time to shut 'em down and make a statement. I know very few have heard about this,and I amongst others believe that this subject is being hushed up for fear of the damage it can do to this country. If you stop and think about this it will amaze you. ( 1 ) At one point in time the food you purchase from your local grocery store was transported by a truck. ( 2 ) At one point in time the fuel you purchase for your vehicle at your local filling hole was transported by a truck. ( 3 ) At one point in time the clothes on your back  that you buy from the mall,Walmart,Sears,Target,whatever clothing store or outlet you buy from was transported by a truck.  ( 4 ) At on point in time the furniture in your house or apartment was delivered to the stores by a truck. ( 5 )At one point in time that new car you are driving was transported to the dealership by a truck . Do we see a pattern here people ? For those of you who are not familiar with the trucking industry,this is just a little insight for you.The average semi truck has 2 fuel tanks , each capable of holding 125 to 150 gallons of fuel per tank , 250-300 gallons of fuel @ $4.25 p/gallon . Thats $1000.00 to $1350.00 to fill up,a lot of cash , huh ? Add to the fact that on a good given day they may get 6 miles per gallon, yes , I said 6 !!!! Add to the fact of vehicle maintenance of a semi  and it's trailer is not exactly cheap. Add to the fact that insuring a semi truck and trailer and it's cargo ( which is purchased by you,the consumer ) is not cheap. The cost of license plates for truck and trailer,not cheap.The cost of maintaining your CDL ( commercial drivers license )license,not cheap especially if it is a hazmat - ( special endorsement for a CDL holder ) to transport hazardous materials ( gas, propane,various chemicals,etc...) not cheap. That is why there is a " fuel surcharge " something the consumer does not see,but pays for in the end. You see the trucking companies have to charge this to the distributor,store etc.. in order to make up for the costs of fuel to transport and to make up for the delivery charge rates which are getting cut down to try to keep consumer pricing on product to a relatively low price.These are just basics here,there is a lot more to go on , but I will keep it somewhat brief. These costs are driving the owner operators / independant contractors ( people who own their own semi ) out of business and out of jobs. It is also affecting the " major trucking companies " out there a ton of money !!! Think here,major company who has 1000 trucks or more on the road , the fuel costs alone , as mentioned, for a 10000 trucks per month is more than some people will make in a year !!!!  IT IS TIME TO MAKE A STATEMENT-SHUT 'EM DOWN,NO TRANSPORTATION,NO NEED FOR THEIR OVER PRICED FUEL,THEY WILL FEEL THE CRUNCH AS WILL THE REST OF THE COUNTRY,BUT IT HAS TO STOP !!!!! PLEASE KEEP POSTED ON THIS AND YOU AS MOTORISTS CAN HELP BY NOT PURCHASING FUEL FOR A GIVEN WEEKEND DURING THIS STRIKE. and either live to retire 'they' (together or alone) would get two US
Presidential retirement checks, two US Senate retirement checks, and a

If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies.
He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary

they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua , New

They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.

around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence 'had' to be built
within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the

payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton 's
salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the
salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

I just got off of yahoo sports and I am slightly angered by an article written by Rich Tosches. Let me tell you something about J.D. . True,he has fallen off the leaderboards in golf a bit and he has had  his personal issues,but,he is still a professional golfer who at any given time could smoke Mr. Rich Tosches head to head in any golf competition. J.D. has earned several million playing golf , yea , not as much as Tiger will earn in just 1 given year , but he has made a statement playing golf for a living. How many of us would love to play golf for a living? As far as fan base goes J.D. has a huge following,go to to any golf event where he is playing and see who the fans are following,seeking pictures,autographs,etc . I know, I have had the pleasure of following him,getting his autograph on several occasions,getting his picture,this is one hell of a nice man. Many in the golf world still love J.D. and pull for him,he still has it. Remember a couple years back,he went head to head with Tiger,forcing a playoff,ok he lost,but the point is there,he pushed Tiger ( the worlds # 1 ) to the limit. How can you condemn this man ? Really cool shot here, I saw J.D. in a sand trap,holding a cell phone to his ear,Marlboro light cigarette hanging out of his mouth,grasping a wedge with 1 hand,lofted it out and put it within 2 feet of the hole. Mr. Rich Tosches , can you do this ? or any other so called golfer, can you match this ? LEAVE J.D. ALONE

This will hit home to all of the American vets,military personnel,those in any branch of service, served or serving presently, and anybody who calls themselves real Americans !!!!!. Next time anybody passes a Texas Roadhouse steak house, look at the flags that are flying outside.An American flag ( sweet ) !!! , and a flag from the state of Texas ( nothing wrong with flying a state flag, that is alright ). I do however have a problem in which they are being flown. Under law, no flag shall be at equal or greater height than that of the American flag, the American flag shall always be flown above that of any other flag on the same pole or any other pole beside it . Military men know this to be true !!!!! . So who does Texas Roadhouse think they are by dissiing our American flag, which we all fight for ? Please feel free to boycott Texas Roadhouse until they remedy this matter. Better yet, feel free to contact Texas Roadhouse H.Q. @ 1 (800) TEX ROAD , lets see if the founder , Mr. Kent Taylor is an American who believes in our morals as American citizens. I even know of an instance where a group of 26 people walked out of Texas Roadhouse due to the manager being un-American and saying it is just fine  ( bull ), gotta love that group of people !!!!, I do . You can think it , but I have the guts to say it , I am not afraid to voice my opinion when it comes to this country and it's flag baby. Come on , lets hear it , Americans stick up for your morals and ban the Texas Roadhose. I will take on anybody who does not believe in American standards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
