The media is more of entertainment than inlightment to me.. I am a news buff and always will be and in all my years of looking at world news ,local news I have yet to see the news that I really want to hear about.. I know we all can't have it our way . There is not enough good shows that I believe is interesting to black females around the age of 40ish with a intelligent overtone but slightly funny... I haven't seen a good black sitcome since the jeffersons yes I didnt think the cosby show was that funny..well for one thing it was the only show like and since .. Yes they were successful and wonderful kids and home but the story line didn't fit the people to me and not realistic enough.Who write these shows for black sitcoms I want to see some good looking black men in a suite in a office taking care of business on a sitcome I know there is some I should say more blacks on tv shows anytime of the day.. Of course they scared to put too many gorgeous black men on tv. Of course the only sitcome on tv I know of where all tghe men on there is gorgeous is a gay show some of you know what I mean..
As far as race its a black thing ..

Justice for all no matter who you are?? Look around we still live in a world were we live in racial and economic lines . Most blacks as my self have forgot who we are and tend to dress and act like white folks .. We are shape diffrent so the clothes we tend to buy doesn't fit right,, the shoes also don't fit right.. The colors we wear don't represent who we are ,,spirtual and as a people... The blacks who have money they can have their taylor made clothes and nice cars don't get me wrong nothing wrong with it if thats is what you like.. And Black History Month is a joke you learn a name and a few lines of what they did ,,, Its up to each indiviual to teach each other of who why and when everday of our black history and roots... experiences and culture... When I was growing up even light skin people were treated better than dark skin people and in my own home it was happening.. I am proud of my color and glad that I treat everyone the same I don't judge no one ... I have no resaon to hate or dislike anyone for in order to have mercy you must show mercy.. And forgiveness is the key to a happy life this is what I need and want for me and mine..

We can't think that race is the foundation of this nation as far as BET I don;t think of that as a black station when you still see the white isues and white programs. Just like the the other ethnic they have tv in there own lanuage well we have diffrent issues and news that we don't hear about because of bias reporting.. I am not bias but I do know my place and I do believe in separate but equal it work for God's people and it can work for any one with a pure loving heart that know how to treat all humans with respect and kindness.

It is a bias. Thats why we need a Black tv station..The things they show on tv and the news is very disgraceful and pure garbage.. Who makes the descions to put on the programs and news stories.. we as blacks and other minorites do not have a chance when it comes to seeing programs and news that interest us... Even serial killers get more coverage than most blacks good or bad.We will not see O.J or any other blacks who want to make a statment that whites think is not up to their standard.. What happen to his wife was a tragedy
and it was a shame that it was played out on tv the pain of losing a love one is forever there .. Like so many all over the world...

The truth will set you free,, thats what I live for... I was brought up on lies and hate,, now that I am grown and can determine who to trust and not to trust... My choice 0f any matter gives me the right to be who I am and who I want to be with.. Forgiveness has help me grow ,,God's word has given me the power to set a set pattern that was given to all who want to live in peace and haromony with others... I like to share my ideas and dreams,, experiences...
