Its no secret Im no fan of Obama and I have yet to finalize my opinion of Hillary, however last night I was up rather later watching the news coverage following the voting numbers in WV,. Anyway, throughout the night Obamba gave several speeches ( in other states where he was campaigning, I suppose)  as I was saying it was during one of his speeches that I noticed him wearing a "flag" pin, small but noticable and I wondered wasnt this the same canidate that kept his arm down during the pledge, and isnt this the same candiate who speaks about change? so what does he do , he "changes" his own personal appearence to appeal to those who have doubts about his own personal beliefs about this country.  Well I find it quite "odd" that now, so late in the primaries that he would be wearing a flag pin.  Both he and his wife are sporting that pin? Maybe its just me or maybe I missed some things in prior elections but was Obama sporting this "pin" early on in the race, or is this just another distraction to the voters? Maybe, it could be that he has somehow became more "patrotic" after his people told him how unpatrotic he and his wife looked,  and how she sounded after her "uncanny" statement about being a  US citizen. Funny, he just about has this thing wrapped up and then he goes against his own words doing, and acting in contradictory ways. Some may say Im grasping  for straws but little things like that say a lot about a persons character.  It proves that he isnt creditable and cant be trusted.I am definately not comfortable with some of the things about this Mr. Obama. Oh and if you dont believe me check out the video I saw with his explanation:   http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=433832659708

He also errored by not even calling to congratulate Hillary on winning the West Virginia…it’s like he’s simply telling these WV residents, “You don’t matter, and neither do your votes” and that’s just one more State that he’s gonna need in the fall, but probably will not win due to his dismissive policies concerning certain States like Florida & Michigan.

As for his now wearing the flag on occasion, that’s just one more contradiction out of many with this man and yet another indication that he does things out of political necessity, and not out of personal conviction and it’s obvious to all but his devoted groupies.

i was thinking the same thing hacksaw, WV residents just don't matter..........he doesn't go anywhere unless he's the "rock star".......

how is this man going to be president of the WHOLE united states? or is he just going to pick and choose who he represents?

8 out of 10 voters in west virginia admitted that race had an impact on how they voted...illiterate racists do not matter to the educated elite...nor should they

More bad news folks. I am from West By God, proud of it! I guess that the Blacks who Vote for this Anti-American and his Wife by a ninety-four per cent margin are doing it because all of them love his message of HATE SAMERICA and it's worthless working middle class. Right rickyw? I can tell you are quite EDUMACATED! To folks like you, we don't matter, nor should we.

Sooooo, sxybrown...do YOU wear a flag pin everyday? If you don't, does that mean you are not a good citizen? WHO CARES IF HE WEARS A FLAG PIN? It's really not important in the scheme of things.

GIRLSCOUT~ First, Im not running for president, because if I was I would be a bit more consistent, Second, Im not Anti-Amercian, I respect our flag, the people, and our country, Third, I dont have to wear a pin to state my patriotism, Im smart enough to at least ACKNOWLEDGE the pledge & flag in front of the millions I want to serve, Lastly, my husband, or significant other wouldnt dare to make a public commment about now being proud to be a US citizen.

YOU may not care but it contradicts what he says and does in so many ways!!! if he wasnt trying to woo voters now why where that damn pin?? keep things as he said they was..Guess what, his people probably told him to wear that pin so he could come more "Amercian" to the public. It is IMPORTANT when he wants to run this damn country. Use your head. He lied about the Wright case, and now he wants voters to "forget" and move on, well I still have some unanswered question about this "precious Obama" who claims he can change Amercia

Why should Hillary call him? Shes his competition at least she did acknowledge him in her speech she didnt have to do that and he has yet to prove that he can carry the bigger or the swing states, something I find interesting considering some think this election is based on color, gender. If those are the states you need to win the White House how in the world can he possible become the President??

sxybrown - PROVE that Obama is Anti-American!
(I'm taking lessons from dprin)
Hey, if you don't like Obama, no problem. Just stop coming up with blogs that try and make him look like the spawn of the devil.
So....people were unhappy that he wasn't wearing a pin. Now, people are upset that he IS wearing one. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!

girlscout~ NO, he is the one who needs to make up HIS mind..I could care less about the silly pin, its the principle behind it. If you say something public then dont flip in the middle of things you only make yourself look like a liar.

As for blogs that try to make him look like the Devils spawn, hes doing that quite perfectly on his own! if the shoe fits wear it. If you like Obama, no probelm, but those that dont like him or question his actions are entitled to their own opinion.

Whether you want to admit it or not there are a lot of questions surrounding Obama, and it aint going away so if you are that offended I suggest you not take part in any blogs that might step on your toes.

Personally, blogs for me are a place to voice your opinion, your diffrences, good or bad, it is what it is. Im sure I can find a lot of other things to talk about on the other candiates as well I just havent gotten to them yet...

Dprin~ Right on Gurl!! she is getting a little too personal, and uptight I was just making an observation, considering he said he would never wear the pin, now he is wearing it....

Im not saying I would hold it against him in an election but by golly, you gotta wonder what else he says he will do and then switch things up a bit.

See, some people dont want you to take notice of the smaller things, to them it means nothing but look at the whole picture for a change would you, for real....

As if all the other candidates (Democrat and Republican) are little angels. Djo you seriously think any of them are squeaky clean?!
And by responding to your blog - I am also voicing MY opinion!

now hold on a sec there sxy, i didn't say anything about girlscout getting too personal, don't misunderstand me..........

no girlscout, NONE of the candidates are squeaky clean........if they were they would NOT bother with politics.......it's too dirty.

politics is only dirty when yer forced to deal with an uneducated electorate....no one without at least an associates degree should be allowed to vote....that would put us well along on cleaning up politics

I meant that she (girlscout) was taking my comment way too personal. It isnt/wasnt an attack against her it was my own point of view. I make no apologies for how I see things being played out in this election.

(Girlscout)~ there you go taking htings out of context, where did I EVER say any of the other canidates were squeaky clean?? To answer that question, squeaky clean, NO I believe most everybody has some little unknown fact hidden from within. Nothing wrong with hiding your dirty secrets, until of course they come out.

True, you can respond to any blog of interest to you. I respect that. I might not like it but I respect it. So you can chill its never personal furthermore, you were making more of a statement since you were trying to tell me how I should write my blog, as if it infringes on any of your opinions. really it doesnt.

RICKYW~ hmmmm, interesting you would say that but I know that you cant think that anyone would actually entertain that idea?? How would you know the status ( education level) of a voter? what now they should mandate college degrees, along with a photo ID to vote? way too complicated and you know that. It might would work but then you would be totally discriminating against those of lessor education..tsk, tsk, you cant do that.....

RICKYW~ Oh, and by the way they have already eliminated most voters..ex-cons, and felons, to name a few..So you gotta come up with another plan to clean the White House, for sure
