The Browns are never going to be a great team if they can't do anything with the defence, we have a couple of good guys up front, what happened to Wimbley, I thought he was going to be a problem for the quarterbacks, Wimbley is just an average guy on the line Rogers was a good pick for our team but we are having a problem keeping these guys healthy, we lost Tucker on offence and that leaves Thomas to be double teamed. We also lost Vickers and that hurts Lewis, Vickers is a great lead blocker for Lewis, It doesn't seem like we have any good back ups

Cribbs and Winslow seem to be the biggest threat we have and for me I would still like to get rid of Winslow, and we can't forget about Heiden, he always comes through.

I see us using steptoe alot more next year and Harrison also.

Quinn played one game and he looked good, he can scramble and make guys miss him, it seems he can read the field better then Anderson, but I think Anderson would have played just as good, it wasn't the Offence or the droped passes that lost this game,  it is all on the defence, you can't let them score, and they got beat in the secondary

Soon football season will be here, and all of you can forget about the Indians and focus on the Browns, August starts the preseason, and we have alot to look forward to, the new additions to the team, the prime time spots, a seasoned QB, and so far no major injuries that put someone out for the season.

I hope we can stand the pressure that is comming, this seasons should tell us how far we have come, I still say Savage has been the best pick for the Browns, the wheeling and dealing this guy does has improved this team 10 fold, all I have to say is!!!!!!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BROWNS,  LETS KICK THE "P" OUT OF PITTSBURG

Saturday morning, Romeo Crennel introduced Corey Williams and confirmed that the Browns have agreed to terms with the Lions on a trade that would bring Shaun Rogers to the Browns as well.

Even if you figured the Browns were going to be aggressive in bolstering their defensive front, you probably weren't figuring they'd be this aggressive. The Browns added two proven, quality defensive linemen on the first day of the NFL's player movement period.

                Corey Williams

                 Shaun Rogers

These are two proven Defensive linemen that we have needed to add with Antwan Peek and Camerion Wimbly, the true test will be Eric Wright who may replace Bodden in the line up, so far I think the Browns made a good choice, they cut Royce to make room for these guys and traded Bodden for Rogers, Great move.....

Phil Savage predicted it would go to the eleventh hour. Then it went about 11 hours more, into the open free agency period.

But Derek Anderson and the Browns agreed to terms on a new, long-term contract Friday that keeps Anderson in Cleveland and allows the Browns to attack free agency period already having accomplished their top two offseason signing goals.

Anderson and running back Jamal Lewis - who signed a three-year deal last week - will return to an offense that ranked among the league's best in yards and points scored last season.

By signing the deal, Anderson returns to the starting job he took over in Week Two of the 2007 regular season. He threw for almost 4,000 yards and led the Browns to 10 wins, their most since 1994.

                              Derek Ansderson

     Jamal Lewis

Remember this Isn't over, we still have more guys to sign through free agency, this is what they did thus far, and just because we signed Derek Anderson doesn't mean we still won't trade up in the draft, we have given up the first, second, and third round draft picks, and we have Phil Savage who got two first round draft picks last year, this isn't over by a long shot....

      Eric Wright

The defense came first. Now, the Browns have added another talented receiver to a loaded and still developing offense.

The Browns announced that the club signed wide reciever Donte' Stallworth to a seven-year deal on Saturday night. Stallworth brings the speed the Browns hoped to add at the position and also brings six years of NFL experience. His numbers from the last three seasons, all with different teams, rank among his personal bests.

"Donte' will be the major addition to our offense this year," said Browns general manager Phil Savage. "he will bring legitimate speed, quickness and playmaking ability to the receiving corps and add a different dimension to the skill players we already have in place. We're glad he's a Brown."

Stallworth, 27, entered the league as the thirteenth overall pick of the Saints in the 2002 NFL Draft. He caught 128 passes in his last two seasons with the Saints - including a career-high 70 for 945 yards in 2005 - before spending 2006 with the Eagles and last season with the Patriots.

Stallworth (6-foot, 200) had 46 catches for 697 yards and 3 touchdowns last year and 8 catches for 113 yards in three postseason games, including the Super Bowl. In his only season with the Eagles, he averaged 19.1 yards per catch on 38 catches and scored 5 touchdowns.

BRAYLON, WINSLOW, ANDERSON, THOMAS,AND PORTBRIAND, ARE PROBOWL BOUND THIS IS GREAT FOR THEM, WE CAN SEE IF THEY CAN HANG WITH THE ELITE OF THE N.F.L.

Anderson is trying to get a new contract asking for alot of money, and he may just get what he asks for, Atlanta and Miami and others are in need of a quarterback, I still hope we keep him but some say he is asking for a contract like Romo on Dallas got, so don't go blaming Anderson for what he is asking for blame Dallas for setting the tone on how much a rookie doing a great job his first year and signing him mid-season.

If someone else gets Anderson the team has to give up a first and a third round draft pick, this will also be great, so I really don't think we will be in bad shape next year if Anderson is gone because our offensive line is protecting the QB so anyone should be OK behind them.

So far it's been a good season, I know we would like to see the Browns win easy and have the game wraped up by the end of the third quarter but for me I really like sitting on the edge of my seat and playing coach in my house.

the real question at the end of the season will be, do we keep Anderson or go with Quinn next year.

They can trade Anderson for a #1 draft pick next year , Alot of teams are in need of a good Quarterback.

We all know Anderson is going to ask for more money( I know I would) so do they give him more and keep developing Quinn and see how far Anderson takes us next year.

Should we look to drop Quinn???

Eather way we could end up with a first round draft pick next year.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BROWNS.....................

WELL ANDERSON WILL BE THE STARTER AND QUINN WILL STILL BE BACKUP FRYE WENT BYE BYE AND DORSEY IS BACK.

IF ANDERSON FLOPS SUNDAY WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN TO HIM????????

I STILL THINK ROMEO IS A GOOD HEAD COACH, HE JUST NEEDS TO COME DOWN ON THE PLAYERS AT THE TIME THIER PLAYINGON THE FIELD NOT AFTER THE FACT.

SO WHAT DO ALL YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN IF ANDERSON FLOPS LIKE FRYE DID ???

Why isn't Dorsey moving up? all you here on the QB race is Frye or Anderson. Dorsey seems to have it together mybe because he don't have the pressure of competing for the starting job, he just seems more relaxed in the pocket then Frye and Anderson.

Romeo really needs to pick a starter< I still believe Frye should be the starter .

I know i have'nt mentioned Brady Quinn, he looked good (on third string) in the pocket and on the run his throws were right on target alot of short passes because the Lions went to the prevent defence not as much rushing.

I will say this for Brady he managed the 2 minute drill just like a pro, lets hope next week he gets some time with the first string.

I think Wimbly and Peek should stay in the line up together with both off these guys the QB on the other team should see alot of turf in his face

Fans down on Brady Quinn, why???  You can't hate the player,  you hate the game the NFL and all the other sports are this way and if your sick about it now wait10 or 20 years when those players hold out for a 1/4 billion and charge 200 dollars for an autograph.

They really need more control over the rookies coming into the Pro's, rookies need to make a base salary the first year, carry insuranse, finish their degree in collage to protect themselves if they get hurt and can't play anymore or worse if they can't measure up to the NFL and they have too crawl under a rock.

I don't mind that they make the money it just bothers me that they all say they love the game and it's not about the money then they hold out...

Frye looked pretty good and the stats show it, his downfall is trying to force a touch down at the end of the first half but this is only preseason you have to risk it to test yourself.

This year Frye will have a break out year.

Anderson not so good he was'nt on his game.

For some reason Dorsey played one heak of a game.

WOW where did we get all the blitz packages from a new play book ? alot of Defence going on here, they kept the QB on the run.

Look for Quinn this Satuarday I'm still not sure about him because I don't watch collage so I wont judge him untill mid season

GOOOO BROWNS........

My thoughts....

I think it's rude to ask someone how much money  they make.

This is to the reporter that asked Brady Quinn how he felt about most inner city families making less then he will make, HOW RUDE........

LETS GET ON TRACK AS FANS AND START CHEERING FOR ALL THE BROWNS PLAYERS.

I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT OUR TEAM RUNNING ALL OVER THE OTHER TEAMS STARTING TODAY WITH K. C. LETS HEAR IT .

GOOOO BROWNS

GOOOOO BROWNS

GOOOOOO BROWNS
