My time came to vote and it only took 15 min. I came home and watched the news, from what I can see the early voting helped out alot, it didn't seem to be crowded at any polling place.

It is now 3 am and I see we have a new President, I hope President Obama can stand the heat for the next 4 years, It's not going to be an easy task.

Now I call on all that stood against President Obama and stand behind him in these difficult times Americans face this is not a time to be divided, it is time to stand together as one nation and work together.

President Obama has come a long way in his life for himself and others, this is truely a day that will go down in history, and he should have our support no matter how anyone feels.

The only sad part of this election was OHIO Issue 6 not passing, how can people vote against more jobs in Ohio, Do people not understand that it would have created 5000 plus jobs here, MUCH NEEDED JOBS, I will never understand what some people think..

CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT OBAMA.

Super as you no I have a part time job at some certain place that has no casino, had this issue passed it would of only been for 1 part of Ohio and not all, I agree with you on the job sitiuation, but I feel it's not really fair to dictate where a casino should go, if Ohio was to ever get Casinos it should be all over the state not just one area.

I too voted no on casinos, not because I didn't want the jobs, but it was a monoply for one company in one location. I support casino gambleing in ohio, but has a free market place where any company that wants to come in and build resorts according to ohio voted in specifications would have the oppertunity.

I'm with you super. I voted for casino gambling. I don't care if it was for only one location. It would still bring JOBS to our state. And MONEY to our state. 2 things we need badly.

I voted for the casino gambling as well. Casino=jobs for Ohioans and more casinos in more parts of Ohio. Plus the fact that Ohioans would not have to travel out of state to give their $$$ to other casinos.

Voting for this casino could have opened the door for more in the future in other places. By continually not passing a casino, regardless of its location, Ohio will never get its chance to have any.

I voted yes on the casino. I actualy wouldn't want it built in my backyard, but I voted based on what I thought was best for everyone. It may not have brought a job for me and super, but it would have employed thousands, and provided the opportunity for alot of growth in that area.

ricky- my attitude hasn't changed at all. I'm a republican who voted for McCain. The election is over. Rational people accept the election results and hope for the best.

How many times will Obama be able to lie or maybe they arn't lies maybe the problem is the drug use back in college, now we have his aunt in this country and he says he didn't know she was here. His aunt made illegal donations to him over the years, how many other illegal donations has he received.

........remember that one super...like i said...isnt it funny how peoples attitudes change...lol

I'm sorry that we look at rational behavior differently. Every four years we make history. Not every American gets what they want. A democrat is going into office, nothing we can do about it. So why sit back and whine about it? Woulda shoulda coulda gets you nowhere.
I'm being optomistic that Senator Obama will bring GOOD change to our country.

that quote i posted was written by superbrowns hours before the election...spewing vile and venom is never rational....theres a big difference between rational thought and ranting aboutdrug abuse and lies and illegal contributions from a woman who lives in public housing....read the stuff superbrown wrote in his posting immediately before this most recent one and tell me how rational it sounds......maybe goat cheese alters ones view of reality
