I just received an e-mail from HSUS that Nike has dropped Vick. Way to go Nike! I always knew it was bad luck to hurt animals.

Amen to that!!! Another overpaid psychotic loser. Have you seen how his face always looks so mean? There's just something about him that makes him guiltier than sin!!!! If he was so innocent, why doesn't he ever look upset? He just walks around with such arrogance. BIG TIME LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!

There reason for dropping him was hyprocritical and personally I really did not know who Vick was until this incident, however Vick's brutality towards animals have nothing on NIKE and their inhumane treatment of children in Southeast Asia...So no I am not glad other than to prove Nikes cares more about animals than that of children...Being force in nothing more than child slavery.

I'm glad I didn't buy my new shoes this weekend. I actually skipped right over the Nike because they had that fool as a spokes person... now when I go back shopping I can look at Nike again!!!

Great job Nike!

realitychk I don't buy Nike so I don't care. You can google Nike and sweatshops, I did. You can donate to stop sweatshops. I donate for animals it's my choice.

suieshere,

That is exactly my point in this Vick ordeal is just a way for some people to vent against a person and not really the issue of his alleged abuse of animals. When everyday including the city dog pound kills pitbulls because rehab them is never an option and in small town in Ohio just last month they have monthly town auctioning of horses some people can brutally kill to eat...Not to mentioning cockfighting etc...The abandoned and abused greyhound racing dogs that is pretty rampant as well....Especially if they lose...

So, I do care not only about the humane treatment of animals but the humane treatment of human beings....I just don't pick and choose.

And you are right it is your choice. I just wouldn't choose a human life over an animal's life and call that humanity.
