I am proposing an amendment to the constitution:

Amendment 28 - Presidential 30 Day Guarantee

"If after 30 days from being sworn in, the President does not have at least a 75% approval rating, he/she shall resign from office. Google shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate internet polls."

Amendment 29

"If after 3 years in office, the President has preemptively invaded and occupied another country that was not an immediate threat, he/she shall be forcibly removed from office, placed in handcuffs and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

You're right. And whoever voted for it in Congress can't run for re-election.

"People can quarrel with whether we should have more troops in Afghanistan or internationalize Iraq or whatever, but it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks of biological and chemical weapons."
- Former President Bill Clinton, July 22, 2003 during an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live"

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
- Al Gore, Former Clinton Vice-President Sept. 23, 2002

"This is probably the hardest decision I have ever had to make–any vote that may lead to war should be hard–but I cast it with conviction. Over eleven years have passed since the U.N. called on Saddam Hussein to rid himself of weapons of mass destruction as a condition of returning to the world community. Time and time again he has frustrated and denied these conditions. This matter cannot be left hanging forever with consequences we would all live to regret."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Oct 10, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D-MA), Oct. 9, 2002

Having reached the conclusion I have about the clear and present danger Saddam represents to the U.S., I want to give the president a limited but strong mandate to act against Saddam."
- Sen. Joseph Lieberman, (D-CT) Oct. 7, 2002
