You are correct my friend, two big beautiful green flags. Conan is funny, just not that funny, not like Leno, Carson or Letterman as they are in a class by themselves. In addition another consideration too. The US age population is aging at a time when Conan is specifically for the young. Honestly, NBC is committing late night show suicide as far as I am concerned and yes, I do love FOX and Rupert too...cheers!

Well Jay and Letterman use the stand-up verbal methods much like Bob Hope did. Johnny Carson and Conan use more a skit approach to comedy. Where Carson was very funny and spontaneous with skits, Conan unfortunately is funny, but not quite as funny as he tries to do physical things. His weird facial expressions are just too weird, not funny at all, but rather a sad stab at comedy, just short of the tomato throwers, and his one liners are so-so, they are cute, but not very funny. That my friend is what I see in his work, but I am sure you see differently and honestly it's what matters most to each viewer, however, my predictions still stand. I do not believe he has the standing talent to remain a long time unless he were to change drastically the format and also pull in some great coaching and writing talents for comedy, and even then by predictions are that he will probably tank in the ratings. In other words, he will not appeal to the massive and majority aging population like Jay Leno would, and isn't that just great that FOX will get Leno if they play it all right.

Well not yet, because I myself have not heard anything that FOX has really made any endeavors to nab him. But what I can say is that giving up Leno for Connan is one of the greatest network blunders in tv history. It's nice that NBC wants to stick by its principals, but not at the expense of chopping off its own limbs! Business is business and if NBC wants to commit business suicide because that makes them feel better, then my words to Leno simply are "Fockk" em, they been FOkXed and I hope they enjoyed it! Jay, go to FOX and start a brand new evening number one show that many Americans can sit back and enjoy once more, while forgetting that other network...Jay you are da man!

You are correct. Leno is not Carson, he is Leno, and actually he is one of the most gifted monologue artists out there. Conan is talented but in a different way. Unfortunately Conan's format is deeply flawed and his popularity because he leans politically, is also doomed.

Leno's future lies at FOX with all the Foxy ladies and Handsome hunks...!
