United Nuclear has put together a conversion kit that will let you car run on both hydrogen and gasoline both. The kit is a two pronged process requiring their generator at your home. The generator can be used to manufacturer your own hydrogen in your garage and store it there in cells or plug directly into your car. They have logged over 50,000 miles on this system and it works providing that your engine has a compression ratio of 9.5 to 1. So essentially your car has the tanks and then the generator which will create the hydrogen via solar panels, windmill or even household electricity, through the former are nearly costless.

I felt it important to pass this latest news on to all of you, because American ingenuity is at work here and it won't take ten years, rather but a very short time. The state of Michigan has already approved this and it won't pollute either, but, the State of California has yet to approve your usage of hydrogen which may be illegal in the golden state to use and convert your existing gasoline engine to.

Another note: Smog checks send your car's information to the state's central computer, but be aware if your car registers to low on the State's minimum smog specs for your car, the state might reject your smog certificate. This is because the computer has a maximum and minimum suspected tolerance to meet guidelines and smog specs that are too low for your model and make of car, it will be rejected as being a fault with the readings, even if the reading of low smog levels is correct.

A legislature in the state needs to be made aware of this computer practice and remove the minimum specs and also the laws in California must be changed so that your exhaust system modifications to hydrogen are not illegal as they currently are.

At this point, whoever is driving up the oil stock is quickly resolving a lot of nasty issues, like funding the nutjobs in Central America and the Middle East and it appears the prices have broken the oil industry too. With the entire world working at this, it is only a short matter of time before there are so many kits and cars options alternatives to oil that it is over. May hurt in the short run but in the long run Bush can kiss his good oil refining friends feasting on this country away...oil no more!

I don't know if you've heard this story yet, but they're saying we've found what may be the largest oil reserve (in the world) right in the Rocky Mountains. It's hard to get to because it's beneath tons of shale, and the libs don't want any digging, but 90% chance it's there.

The thing about alternate fuels is, although I'm for it we'll still need oil for plastic production and half a million other things. I say, dig HERE and cut the Arabs off cold.

Don't know if you say my post about where your oil money goes, but you might find this interesting...

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The problem with Bush's friends is that they don't use the oil they get already. look at a foreign company BP which controls our Alaska pipeline. They are deferring a lot of our oil out of the country even now, so they just want our oil. If they dig it, they will sell it outside this country so as far as I am concerned, while I agree with you in spirit, until I see a change in Bush's friends which I have not, I would veto this. Why give it away and rape our country. Send it to us first and I'll go along with it, not that any veto I proclaim means anything worth squat, but just my honest feelings on this thug president in office.

I have been wanting one of these Hydrogen conversion (Darn unfair, Unjust, Laws) kits for a long time.

If drilling was done well and oil used correctly (correctly is for the USA's citizens get to enjoy the oil as in other places.

Do not mind using gasoline as a back up, but if I never use another drop of gasoline again I would be happy; until special interests (of the select few to corp holders) take it away again or tax it as tea was.

I side with Sebar for the moment.

Hydrogen is a pipe dream. It will never happen. It is just a red herring for Bush to make people think he is supporting new energy sources. Baloney. What will you do when the call needs to be fixed? Hire a rocket scientist to work on it? the few hydro cars on display are just that displays. Will never be affordable for consumers.

Join PickensPlan.com , to be free of Oil and foreign dependence forever...

and use what we have and what we know works, Hydrogen is coming of age, but
CNG (compressed natural gas) - Wind - Solar are viable and achievable in a 3-5 years period.

We are at war, we owe it to our troops to use a sense of urgency , ie Manhattan Project style.

We could have a CNG pump at all 167,000 gas stations in 3-5 years and GM already makes 19 CNG Cars but they sell them abroad to cng-friendly countries. Guess what? We are NOW a CNG friendly country too.

CNG - Wind - Solar - the 1-2-3 combo to free us of imports. It will also give us time to perfect Hydrogen, ALGAE to Oil, Hemp to Oil, Garbage to Ethanol , Sewage to CNG, etc etc etc.

The goal is to never be trapped by one single source of fuel again, we need them all , so no ONE single provider can hold us hostage again.

Peace and power to the sheeples, Kurt

The problem is that most folks are already in hock paying off their cars and many who have paid them off can't afford to buy a new car especially since the dollar has dropped. Hydrogen does work and the Japanese already are making a car that runs on normal tap water, not even distilled. So the technology is here, conversion kits for most cars can be had. T-Boone would be wise to sell hydrogen kits too for older vehicles to run on ;) Just my own thoughts.

Watch this and learn a lot.;..we don't need oil or natural gasoline...!

Sebar, We know hydrogen works there are multiple forums, groups and discussions on PickensPlan.com... The main point being, what can be put into production the quickest??? We're bleeding $700Billion a year to our enemies. You'll find page after page of sourced materials on alternative energy. The point I take from all this is...TODAY, not tomorrow, not 3-5-7-10 years from now. Honda says the FCX will be a production car by 2018, by that time with rising prices we will have handed over $10,000,000,000,000.00 thats TRILLION to our enemies.

So while I agree hydrogen is "one" of many fuels and fuel sources we should pursue, we should never be beholden to one type of enery or one provider, ie Exxon.

TODAY - GM is making 19 cng cars that could be sold here in weeks or months, not years. TODAY , the wind corridor is being built, TODAY the Texan's just approved $4billion to fix their grid.

For me the U.S. economy is #1, as a side effect the environment will benefit as well. CNG is cleaner , cheaper and American. Why this country doesn't scrape the failed E85 ethanol plan and go full scale CNG is inexplicable and idiotic.

As to conversion kits for Hydrogen just like conversion kits for CNG , pray the EPA doesnt get involved. If the EPA were booted from the certification , millions of cars could be converted annually. In IRAN they are using CNG and people pay $50 to have their cars converted to CNG with government subsidies.

I'll tell you this, I dont want to be right, I dont want to be smart, I dont want anything but OPEC and Russia out of the future of U.S. and

I agree with your point of view to a limited point. But Hydrogen is still the best means and cheapest to utilize.
