Sidewalks are NOT for Vehicle Traffic!

To the guy in the black pickup who exhibited one of the most childish fits of road rage I've seen in a while: Did they teach you to use the SIDEWALK to pass in Driver's Ed?!?

I was behind you waiting at an intersection in Parma yesterday. I also saw the guy who had the misfortune of breaking down right in the middle of the intersection. I'm sure he didn't plan to have a breakdown just to piss YOU off. Yet you continued laying on your horn, screaming and having a fit.

Instead of waiting 3 seconds for a break in the flow of traffic to pass like a normal human being, you threw your truck in reverse, came within an inch of backing up into me, and proceeded to drive around the disabled vehicle using the sidewalk as your own private passing lane---narrowly missing a fire hydrant and T-boning oncoming traffic in the process so you could make your precious right turn. Did I mention this took place in front of the Parma police station? Yesterday was your lucky day because my cell phone was down. Otherwise I had your plate number and would have reported your dangerous actions PRONTO.

Luckily no pedestrians were using that sidewalk. I'm convinced that in your fit of rage, you would have mowed them down if there were. If you have a family, I truly feel sorry for them, as they likely have to endure similar antics at home. Please do us all a favor and take some anger management classes.

LOL! It's also the ones next to me (trying to butt into my lane) or behind me (usually tailgating) that I worry about, too!

shaddow...old people are a curse on america....start working and PAYING taxes...yer never to old to do your part...we are involved in a war for our great nations security...old people need to go back to work and donate their social security to the war effort....lets publish every old persons name who doesnt give up their social security check for our troops...and their phone numbers

hey shadow how u doing,long time no talk with, ricky,do u have parnets?im sure u do and they are probaly elderly,do u think the same about them, just remember u will be elderly also,and imaigine what the young folks mite say then, as for the road rage i think i would have called when i got a chance and still reported them,they need to be taught a lesson or two,and maybe anger mamagament will do

ricky you are an idiot! I hope ur working because you sure are on a lot of posts! How can you say people should give up their only income to help fight this stupid oil war? Why dont you donate ur paycheck and see how it is being poor. These elderly fought for this country already they deserve the money! Lets stop paying the troops and see how they like it, how about that? You are ignorant and probably dont even work you loser!!!

jed....real ignorant statement! First off that's gonna be you one day and your parents to, if not already. Did your parents not teach you to respect your elders? So what if they walk slow and drive slow..GO AROUND, and if you actually took time to listen to them you might learn something, because obviously you don't know much so any help you can get would probably help. Next time think before you type or at least re-read it before you post it.

Satur.....why not drive on the sidewalks???? half these fools walk in the street instead of on the sidewalks anyway. Everyday I see idiots walking in the middle of the street with kids in strollers and spread out across the road on their bikes and then they look at you and pretty much dare you to hit them. But yea your guy sounds like a complete BLEEP.

i didn't plan to get old, have a heart attack, diabetes and fall and blowout my quad' muscle.

young ppl get in the way too stop and talk to friends create a knot,it takes a lifetime to circumnavigate, some of us are on borrowed time.. can't wait until you age, and walk slow, drive slow, & tell the young folk, in my day... can't we all just get along???

Joshua...unfortunatly I think that all of us getting along will never happen. Primarily because none of these damn kids have any respect. I am in my 30's and my mom would roll over in her grave and my dad would still snatch me up if I ever disrespected my elders. My dad has MS so he is very slow and it aggravates alot of people and quite frankly I could care less! I am the first one to stand up for not only him but others with disabilities and in general just elderly, everyone is in such a hurry to get no where and they have no patience or understanding for those who can't move as well as us healthy folks. I empathize with you because my mom passed away from complications due to diabetes, and other mistakes the doctors made, but I hope that you are taking care of yourself to the best of your ability and trying to enjoy all the beauty that this world does hold.
