Hacksaw since you saw  fit to assess critically Obama because he has a half bother living in Kenya in a mud hut and poor, and you felt it was necessay to call to our attention that  Obama made 4 million dollars last year and he should be doing something for his brother.

I feel even more so about Cindy McCain.  First of all she lied about her half sisters existence. Obama did not.   Cindy McCain is worth over 100 million dollars, Obama is not.  Her half sister lives in a modest home and I bet they are struggling to survive since her and her husband are retired and her nephew is unemployed.  She should share her millions with her family and stop being so greedy.  After all the McCains own 7 lavish homes and could give one to each of her siblings, nephew and neice, she would still have 3 lavish homes.

"what is done unto the least of thee is done unto me" said the lord. He also said it will be easier to put a camel through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god"

She is the evil half sister who cut off the credit card to her young neice without warning as soon as her rich father was dead  and buried.

Obama acknowledged his siblings in his book the  Audacity  of Hope, and sent them his love.  Obama just recently made $4 millions dollars from his book sales and just paid off his and his wife's student loans 2 years ago.  His half brother did not speak ill of Obama and is proud of him.

That is not the case with Cindy McCains half sister and nephew. So much for the McCain's Christian family values.

See News Story Below:

Ted Robbins/NPR
Nicholas Portalski, whose mother is McCain’s half sister, says it’s “very, very hurtful” that he and his mother haven’t been recognized.

All Things Considered, August 18, 2008 · Last Tuesday, NPR broadcast a story about Cindy McCain’s business and charity work. In it, Ted Robbins described McCain as the only child of Jim Hensley, a wealthy Arizona businessman. The next morning, NPR received an e-mail from Nicholas Portalski of Phoenix, who heard the story with his mother.

“We were listening to the piece about Cindy McCain on NPR, All Things Considered, and it just struck us very hard,” Portalski said.

His mother, Kathleen Hensley Portalski, is also Hensley’s daughter.

The Portalski family is accustomed to hearing Cindy McCain described as Hensley’s only child.

She’s been described that way by news organizations from The New Yorker and The New York Times to Newsweek and ABC.

McCain herself routinely uses the phrase “only child,” as she did on CNN last month. “I grew up with my dad,” she said then. “I’m an only child. My father was a cowboy, and he really loved me very much, but I think he wanted a son occasionally.”

McCain’s father was also a businessman — and twice a father.

“I’m upset,” Kathleen Portalski says. “I’m angry. It makes me feel like a nonperson, kind of.”

Who Is Kathleen Hensley Portalski?

Documents show Kathleen Anne Hensley was born to Jim and Mary Jeanne Hensley on Feb. 23, 1943. They had been married for six years when Kathleen was born.

Jim Hensley was a bombardier on a B-17, flying over Europe during World War II.

He was injured and sent to a facility in West Virginia to recuperate. During that time, while still married to Mary Jeanne, Hensley met another woman — Marguerite Smith. Jim divorced Mary Jeanne and married Marguerite in 1945.

Cindy Lou Hensley was born nine years later, in 1954.

She may have grown up as an only child, but so did her half sister, Kathleen, who was raised by a single parent.

Portalski says she did see her father and her half sister from time to time.

“I saw him a few times a year,” she says. “I saw him at Christmas and birthdays, and he provided money for school clothes, and he called occasionally.”

Jim Hensley also provided credit cards and college tuition for his grandchildren, as well as $10,000 gifts to Kathleen and her husband, Stanley Portalski. That lasted a decade, they say. By then, Jim Hensley had built Hensley and Co. into one of the largest beer distributorships in the country. He was worth tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars.

Sole Inheritor To Hensley’s Estate

When Hensley died in 2000, his will named not only Portalski but also a daughter of his wife Marguerite from her earlier marriage. So, Cindy McCain may be the only product of Jim and Marguerite’s marriage, but she is not the only child of either.

She was, however, the sole inheritor of his considerable estate.

Kathleen Portalski was left $10,000, and her children were left nothing. It’s a fact Nicholas Portalski says his sister discovered the hard way.

What she found in town — on the day of or the day before or the day after his funeral — was that the credit card didn’t work anymore,” Nick says.

The Portalskis live in a modest home in central Phoenix. Kathleen is retired, as is her husband. Nicholas Portalski is a firefighter and emergency medical technician looking for work.

They say it would have been nice if they were left some of the Hensley fortune.

They also say they are Democrats, but Nicholas Portalski says he had another reason for coming forward.

“The fact that we don’t exist,” he says. “The fact that we’ve never been recognized, and then Cindy has to put such a fine point on it by saying something that’s not true. Recently, again and again. It’s just very, very hurtful.”

Kathleen Portalski says she’d like an acknowledgment and an apology.

NPR asked the McCain campaign — specifically, Cindy McCain — to comment or respond. Neither replied.

since you are more interested in the mud, here's some for you:

this "daughter" & her husband and children were nothing but low class hillbilly's that wanted nothing but money & more money from the father. they treated him terribly & all he was for them was a wallet. they also treated cindy terribly for her entire life and NOW they want money & recognition..........because they are after their 15 minutes of fame & nothing else.

so, now Cindy is supposed to be their cash cow........

If I were her, I wouldn't give them the time of day, let alone anything else. She was NEVER important to THEM until she could GIVE them something.

The best way to handle a family member like that is to cut them loose..........and it seems that is exactly what Cindy did. As she should.

“No comments from others”? Are we living in Stalin’s regime now? It makes sense, seeing how Obama is a Socialist (as is Hillary, and many other liberals) who believe in governmental control & redistribution of personal wealth….

This insignificant attempt at a hit piece even conceded that and I quote: “She may have grown up as an only child, but so did her half sister, Kathleen, who was raised by a single parent.”

If you grew up as the only child in a home, and then met a half-sibling as an adult, then I doubt if you would gladly act as her constant ATM machine but none of that changes the fact that Cindy has purchased homes for several of hers & John’s relatives, while the millionaire Obamas allow Barack’s half brother to live in poverty in a third World country….

One thing I never got here is. Why does Medea compare a presidential elect to a presidential elector's wife. No comparison from what i can see.

Plz compare apples to apples. election candidates to elections candidates. Wives to wives.

whiteneck, now come on now, those comparisons aren't fair. LOL

comparing Obama to McCain is like comparing a crayon drawing of an apple to a REAL orange. it just doesn't measure up & the drawing is flat.

same thing with the wives...it's like comparing a fine, timeless silk suit to a picture of the latest "ghetto" wear. no comparison

Well, I really don`t think that family of a candidate on either side should be a part of the question of a candidates qualifications. Bear in mind though, when the flap about how many houses the McCains own, the conservative answer was "Cindy McCain is just taking care of her sisters, nephews, etc. out of the goodness of her heart." I knew that was a crock when I first read it. The only extremely wealthy persons I can think of that know they have more money that they could ever spend in a lifetime and share their` wealth with the unfortunate and humanitarian causes, are Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Oprah. I don`t know their`party affiliation nor do I care. Their`hearts are not filled with greed, but with compassion and understanding for their` fellow man. Cindy McCain does not aspire to benefit anyone except Cindy McCain. She definitely does not belong on that list.

Do you even pay attention to what you write when you’re typing out your usual hateful drivel?

“Cindy McCain does not aspire to benefit anyone except Cindy McCain.”

Could that be why she buys houses for several of hers & John’s relatives, and together they adopt a young Bangladeshi girl and get her the surgery she needs, and a much better life than she could ever have hoped for?

Seek help Casey – seriously!

no casey, it was NOT like me, but the comparison between Cindy McCain & Michelle Obama is similar.

maybe i was a little TOO rough about it though.

strike that one and i'll think of another.

I'm sure M Obama is a good mother, good wife (although controlling), good neighbor, hard worker, etc. etc. She's probably very similar to the average woman in this country. What I don't like is the typical bitterness & racism that comes from her..........and honestly, i don't agree with her allowing her children to be exposed to that crapppp in church. Otherwise, she seems alright.

Cindy McCain is classy & beautiful. A little aloof I think.......or maybe she's shy, who knows? She IS charitable & does GIVE her money away to charities, etc. As far as those relatives are concerned, I wouldn't give them a dime............or the time of day either.

Either way, it really doesn't matter. Not even Hilary (when she was first lady) really had ANY effect on things.

I guess I was just getting carried away by the stupidness posted by your buddy. If I knew how to barf online, I would. Thanks for the "check" there casey.
