In honor of our fallen soldiers, those who have served our country in the past , those who are currently serving our country and those who will serve our country in the future...THANK YOU!  We appreciate each and every one of you. 

In addition, it is the unofficial start to summer!  Yes, it's time time light the grill and enjoy some of our summer favorites.  I wouldn't mind some tasty ribs, chicken, mac n cheese, baked beans, etcetera...you get the drift.   What do you have on your agenda this holiday?  Sadly, we do have showers and thunderstorms in the forecast so you may want to have an alternative plan to your outdoor festivities.

Hey Melissa! Just going to kick back and enjoy the warm weather before the rain gets here. Went to my sister's cookout on Saturday, that was a lot of fun, so today hubby and I are just going to take it easy, maybe go for a drive somewhere. Have a great Memorial Day!!

Rain on Memorial Day? Where I live, they unveiled the new memorial for the people who have served in the Iraq-Afghanistan war. I went to see it today and it is very different than the other memorials to the other veterans who have served in all the other wars since WW1.
