I am SOOOOOOOO tired of hearing how, I should be getting this, or I am owed that, or because of something that happend hundreds of years ago,  I should be getting this or that....  HOW ABOUT THIS...

No one owes you ANYTHING, you only deserve what YOU WORK FOR!!! if you do not work for something YOU DO NOT DESERVE IT, and NO ONE OWES YOU ANYTHING!!!

Its time to move forward and take responcibility for ourselves.  The past is the past GET OVER IT REALLY!!! You get what you deserve and if you work hard and treat people with respect you will get all you need and wish for.  If you are lazy and complain and blame everyone else for your problems,  you need to step back and realize that you are the problem!!

I am half American Indian, if ANYONE has ANYTHING to complain about it is the American Indian People,  but this American Indian, works hard,  does not look to others for help because of what happend in the past,  and live my life the best I can.  I am not perfect, NO ONE IS, I am just tired of all the complaining.  My kids don't whine that much.

thanks for listening :)

Welcome to the blog world on Fox8

I do agree people do have to move forward, and leave the past behind them or It will just drag them down.

"Liberals won't like this" Huh?

I know where you're taking this Dprin. I wasn't born yesterday.

I think people DESERVE things like Universal Health Care. EVERY American citizen DESERVES access to health care.

There was a blog by David Dexter on this subject. It attracted almost 400 comments. Very interesting. look it up. I think you will want to add to the comments.

Meggeo - Yes, well said.

I have never received any hand outs, but have earned what I have. When I was a kid, driving age, my father told me that the joy of life was to set a goal, work for it and achieve it (He was breaking it to me that if I wanted a car, I was going to have to get it on my own). I took that lesson and applied it to my first car, my wife, my education, my job, my house. No one gave me a dime for what I have, and what I have may not live up to other peoples standards, but they are what I wanted, and I worked for them, and they are mine.

I'm not a Republican - actually, I'm not a Democrat, either. I don't know WHAT I am, to be honest - because my views are a bit of each side of the coin depending on the issues.

ANYHOW - back to the issue at hand - I totally agree with this post! I've worked my arse off all my life to obtain what I have today, and darn it, so can everyone else. Why should I have to work my tail off to support these who have no desire to work and achieve goals? Uh-uh - I don't think so!

I'm a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT and I agree9for the most part). There are things I think people should NOT just get without working/paying for(i.e. unnecessary material posessions). However, I absolutely disagree when this argument is used by Republicans to deny access to necessities(i.e. health care, assistance(when needed[Social Security, Education, Welfare]).

I have no clue what I am I agree with both sides on different things. Right now the way clinton and obama are acting I would just like to slap them both. I really thought I woman would be a good idea but with the bickering like babies I dont think so.

I think I will say Im independent because I think on my own, lol.

Stay Independent. The Democrats are MUCH better than the Republicans. Huckabee is baptist trash. McCain is...old. Ron Paul is insane. The only Republican I actually like is Mitt Romney. He looks presidential and I saw him talk on Leno last week and liked what he said.

On the Democrat side, I like Obama. If he doesn't win I'm OK with Hillary.

Yeah with the differences between the two parties I dont think I could ever actually agree enough with either side to be one or the other. I cant honestly say I think either one is better. But each has some very good points on things and bad points on other things. I really liked Hillary and Obama but really they are acting like a couple of teenagers. The rest Im not sure about I kind of like Huckabee but not enough to vote for him yet. Doesnt mean things wont change.

I don't like any of the candidates. Why? Because all politicians are crooks, cheats and liars! I don't care to which party they belong. I have yet to see a politician hold true to their campaign promises or really look out for the people who actually support this country - the working middle class! Every politician has always stuck the screws to the middle class people. The Dems are for the poor or slobs who refuse to be self-supportive, expecting free hand-outs; and the Republicans are for the rich - the self-made millionaires and high class snobs who snort their money through drugs. We need someone who will look out for the interest of the middle class person. But, I never see a politician for the middle working class!
