Monday Unplugged---And the oscar goes to....

So, with the Oscars all wrapped up, we started talking in the newsroom about who would play Wayne, Tracy, Andre, Kenny, Stacey, Nyla, Melissa, and me, if there was a movie about Fox 8 News in the morning.

We decided it was probably best to leave it up to you and make it a Fox Unplugged question.  We were thinking mostly Hollywood movie Actors, but it can be anybody.

Let us know what you think.

Ok not trying to be mean but just wondering.. Why Nyla? I mean there are other behind the scene workers, what about them? It seems like all of the sudden her name keeps popping up all the time, and I don't understand why.

I guess I kind of agree, she's not one of the "Personalities" of Fox 8 and there are others that work behind the scenes as well that get no air time. It does seem like one day you heard her name and it just keeps going with the "Ask Nyla" and the Nyla learning how to ski etc.

For Tracy I think Meg Ryan should play her!

We always considered Ms. Nyla a part of the show, because she is always out there with us So, I included her for the list.

Here are the leading favorites to play the Fox 8 News team, in the Fox 8 Movie.

I would pick Steve Harvey for Wayne Dawson, Kirsten Dunst for Tracy McCool, David Alan Grier for Kenny, Robin Quivers for Ms. Nyla, Tom Skerritt for Andre, Kelly Clarkson for Stacy, and Joey Lawrence (with hair of course) for you. By the way, I don't think there is anything wrong with your hairstyle choice. I haven't been able to decide who I think would best play Melissa.

No, I don't drink coffee, even though I get up at 2:30AM every morning. Todd Meany here, if you didn't guess. I do love working in the mornings though. The crew is great, and it's nice to be home in the afternoon so I can hang out with my 3 boys.
