Drinking at 18 & cell phones for younger children

What is this world coming to, isn't there enough things going on with our children now adays and now they want to pass a law that they can drink, How "CRAZY" is that !!! What is wrong with these little kids n older kids that they are allowed to take a cell phone to school, Why I ask? They are there to learn but it seems like when it comes to our kids they think they are helping them and standing up for them would all in reality they are really harming them. What the teachers dont want to do thier jobs of teaching so they let the kids have cell phones, now whats wrong with this picture. What is next, they going to allow them to buy cigarettes at the age of 18? Everyone preaches about all the D.U.I. but yet lets pass a law for our teens..."NOT"

Ummm I hate to rain on your parade but the legal age for smoking is 18 already....

My opinion is if they can't have a beer at age 18 then they shouldn't be allowed to go to Iraq and kill people at the age of 18 either...

You are right, I forgot it's 18 to smoke...I aggree with you, my one and only brother was killed in vietnam on our FATHERS B-DAY. I did not like growing up with out him . It was just the 2 of us, I took it really hard.But like he told our family that he has to do what he has to do.I will say this though , he fought and died for our country along with alot of others. He was not a draft dodger llike some did.

The delinquents between the ages of 15 and 17 know they can cause trouble and get a slap on the wrist. I say we lower the age of adulthood to 15 so they can be charged and tried as an adult. And lower drinking, driving, voting, military service and smoking to age 15. One drawback to that plan - we'd have to build more jail cells. Pittsburgh would be exempt.

I agree, the law has always been for the crimnals and not the viticm, I know this first hand.

I love the outdoors, taking pictures, have had some published and copyrighted. Like to camp, hike, ride on the back of a motorcycle, spending my time with family and friends., love to cook.Love sports...Go "STEELERS". Like to or go to the races, nascaar, demo car, quads, motorcross, anything to do out doors, I 'm there!!!! Am considered the life of the party and get along with everyone.
