I am sick and tired of hearing about all these celebrities getting in trouble then only getting a slap on the hand. In my opnion they should lose any royalties they have coming to them; the royalties should go to charity. Their estate should be sold and they should have to start back at the bottome of the ladder. The media should stop taking their picture & reporting any news that has to do with them. Todays celebrties are extremely poor role models for todays youth. They need to remember who made them celebrities; us that's who. Stop buying their music, stop seeing their movies, etc. If they can't get their you know what together then they don't deserve to be in the public eye any longer. As for kids of celebrities it would do them good to be thankful that we put their mom/dad in the position they are in so they can be spoiled. If the celebrities want to go out to a club then hire someone to drive you so you aren't drinking and driving and endangering other peoples lives. Hollywood wake up and force them to clean up their act or throw them out like yesterdays newspaper. If celebrities want kids to look up to them as role models then they need to do a better job and project POSITIVE NOT NEGATIVE behavior.

It ticks me off that toy companies that have the toys made over seas aren't required by US laws to inspect ALL products they have made for lead poisoning and other hazards to children. In my opnion the parents should be allowed to:
1.) Fill out a form listing all the toys and pictures of all the toys so they can be reimbursed for them. Either mail in or send in via the internet.
OR
2.) Fill out a form and receive boxes for the toys to be sent back in at the toy manufacturers expense.
Also, the toy companies should pay for the parents to take their kids to the doctor to be tested for lead poisoning. If the tests prove postive then the toy companies should be required to pay for any additional expenses due to their screw up.
I hope this big screw up on their part gets them to wake up and bring the toy companies back home to the USA to make the toys so our people have jobs again. They should also have no choice but to have all toys quality inspected for lead and anything else that is hazardous.
I envy the law firm that gets to hire this class action law suit because they will make a bundle off this one. Parents start signing up now to be included in that one.
BRING THE WORK BACK TO THE USA WHERE THE TOYS WILL BE MADE RIGHT!!!!!!!!

Stop whining about your kids reading Harry Potter and it makign them want to practice witchcraft! Just because you read a newspaper or a book by your favorite author doesn't subject you to wanting to do what they say. Y'all are being parinoid over nothing. Reading gets your kid away from the dang video games that are sparking violence and helps them open their minds to exploring their imaginations. With a good book you can be anyone you want at any point and time and anywhere in the world. I love, love, love to read. Just because I read doesn't mean I want to become any of the charaters in the books I read or do what they do. It's good fun clean healthy entertainment. Get off your high horses and let your kids read the books and have fun reading them. I applaud this author for getting kids to want to read. If the subject matter of any of the books your kids read concerns you then you simply sit down with them and discuss what is real and what isn't. Someone once said, "Reading is fundamental" and schools are trying to encourage the youth of today to read more and play less violent video games.

I don't think it's a good idea for her to host the show. Many people will stop watching as they don't care for her point of view on anything. If they want the show to continue then find someone that the people love that will keep the people watching. I think it should be taken off the air as testiment to Bob Barker's legacy with the show. NO ONE make it like it was when he was hosting it.

I wish the media would stop reporting on Paris having to go to jail. She's an adult, she shouldn't have done the crime if she doesn't want to do the time. If this was someone that isn't in the public eye they would have to do the time and it wouldn't be all over the news. If the media would stop reporting when big names did something wrong then they'd realize they aren't going to get attention that way because they are a negative influence on todays youth and only positive role models will get the attention.

The best diet is the common sense one. Cut back on how big of a portion you put on your plate, cut out the sweets and pop and excercise. Above all see your doctor if you have any health issues. I admit it is hard to do the excercise part, but if you use common sense and use portion control you will loose weight, I did.

Boo Hoo Paris's car was impounded and she might have to go to jail. She's no better than anyone else in this world; she can take her sob story and stuff it. She claimed she didn't know she was driving with a suspended license, yeah right. Watch her get her daddy's lawyer to get her out of going to jail and get her car back plus her license. NEWS FLASH PARIS DON'T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME. She makes me wanna barf!

First they want to get rid of "One Nation Under God" in the Pledge what is next? If you get rid of any religious reference in the Pledge what about reglious holidays like Easter and Christmas? Both of these are filled with references to God. If you get rid of all religious references what else will be after that? Telling us what religion we should practice, when we should go to church, etc.? or do you intend to get rid of that too? The person that wants to censor the Pledge doesn't have to say that portion of the pledge if it is against their religion, but DON'T EVER TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T BELIEVE IN WHEN IT COMES TO RELIGION! I SUGGEST EVERONE LISTEN TO THE VERSION TOLD BY RED SKELETON THAT EXPLAINS WHAT EACH WORD MEANS.

I understand both points of view, but....
Where there is a will to work around using it there is a way.
I also do not think it is fair to punish everyone when not everyone chooses to drink.
Better yet one DUI and you should pay a major fine and do jail time.
A second one and you pay double the fine and do double the time and the third time your drivers license is taken away for the rest of your life. If you are caught driving without your license after it is taken away for life you pay a couple thousand dollars or more and you go to jail for 10 years or more. NO excuses for anyone, you do the crime you pay the time and that goes for celebrities too. If you get into an accident and kill someone while driving drunk no matter wheather it is your 1st time or 3rd your license is taken away and you must pay for your crime in jail and do community service such as cleaning the roadways, etc. to pay the family back for their pain and suffering. You should also automatically have to go into rehab. All bars should have a listing with picture ID of the offender with DUI's against them so they do not serve them any alcohol, if the establishment does they should pay a large fines until the point is understood loud and clear.
