Hello Gang !!!  First of all let me say I am happy, happy, happy. The crew moved to another hotel  here in New Orleans and we are downtown!!  Tons easier to do stuff and we are right in the middle of the action!!!!  I like that because  I am seeing more scarlet and grey every minute I am here!  ha  I know LSU has the home field advantage but the OSU fans will not go quietly into the night!!

The fans are screaming OH-IO !! all over the place!!  Its pretty cool, they are loud and proud! So I went to the official Varsity Club street party and it was very different from Thursday. Tons of people were in the place called the Ernst Street Cafe or the New Orleans Varsity Club.  The LSU fans slightly outnumbered us but we were louder! They even had this big bus come by blasing the LSU fight song and the OH-IO yell just blew them out of tthe water .. ha haha !!!  take that! 

So the crew went out for dinner and I stopped by the world famous  Pat O' Brians and meet more OSU fans and some of my buddies from the C-L-E. My buddies were rocking the house as usual and I met some other cool folks from 216. A really nice lady named Jenny is spending some of her engagement time down here in the big easy with her husband. Hey Jenny congrats and thanks for watching the show!! She was wearing the scarlet and grey with pride!

I went across the city to watch the North Royalton High School Band practice. They are part of the pregame show and the half time show. They are part of a bigger group of 10 bands across the country. The kids came in all wearing Buckeye hats they know how to make and entrance. They were all just great young adults. They had some insightful things to say about the city and the recovery effort post Katrina. They are really amped about going into the Superdome.

You can see the energy in each and every step they take I wish the best of luck I am sure they will rock the house! Well, Dave is putting our video into the computer so I have to go log tapes. I will keep you guys posted on whats happening down here. Monday is going to be a big day!!!
