i am soooooo happy that both davids are in the final 2 i knew that it would them in the final two and so did they. i thought it was so cute that they both got teary eyed when they went to their home town that just shows how humble they are. i like DAVID A  more but go DAVID C & DAVID A. i knoqw that they will both get good singing lives.

This is the best final 2 yet. Usually I don't end of really liking one of the finalists but this year it's hard because they are both so good and so likable. My oldest daughter thinks David A. is cute and I have to agree, what an adorable kid! He is genuinly a sweet, innocent and well raised young man.

lol....I hear you lost. I think they are both great but I am favoring David A. I think he would be such a great idol!

i watched it tonght,they both were awsome,but it seems to me the judges (espcially simon believe it or not) i think are going for david a,he is young and cute,so all the teenagers im sure voted tonite,i myself did not vote as many times as ususal,cuz i couldnt decide which one,i did vote for each a couple of times,

I voted for David A. I think he's awesome, he has a great tone and holds his tune very well, and..., he's only 17! Maybe he won't be a "Rock Star", but it's not a "Rock-A-Thon" contest. And, in my opinion I think David Cook is too "All About Me", and arogant. So you go David A. because you deserve to win all the way!

well neice,u have a good point,i think david a will win,but like u said it's not a rock a thon, and i believe most of the idols that were this season will do very well in whatever they choose to do,and i bet u some of them we will be hearing on the top 20

Oh absolutly....I really liked Carly to and think she should have been in the top 3. I didn't like Syesha, I think she is to snotty and of all of them she was the most arrogant! I really saw it the night she and Carly were in the bottom 2 and the look she gave Carly was snotty and unnecesary. Like she knew she wasn't the one going home and was glad that Carly was. David A did amazing last night and picked the right songs for the night, I think he's definatly going to win. I know that we will be hearing from David C in the near future and I really thought his story was unique. His brother was acually the one who was auditioning and he pulled David in just for fun and he went all the way, that's just crazy!! What a ride he's been on, and neither of the 2 have ever been in the bottom 3.

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about Syesha either. She's more like an actress than a singer. I'm sure both Davids win or lose will have a contract. They probably already do anyway. I do think David Cook is awesome, too. But, as far as attitude and voice tone and balance, David A. has it. Plus, I hope David A. wins it because I also want his father to see how talented his son is. From what I've heard his father has always been on that poor kids ass to constantly do better when he should be proud of him for who he is, what he's accomplished, and the talent that he has. I think David A. did awesome last night, and I agree with Simon.

Way to go David Cook, our new american idol. I couldn't be happier. He truely deserves to win. And thanks to Simon Cowell for turning the tables and scaring the pants off of the Cook fans enough to keep those votes coming in!

Yea I agree with both of you on that, David A can appeal to definatly the younger croud and because of his humbleness(if thats even a word, if not it is now..lol) and being so genuine he can appeal to the older croud as well. I really think he will do very well for himself!
