OJ is a celebrity. As a celebrity, I think he has special rights.He is entitled to rob people, bust into hotel rooms and take whatever he pleases.Why should sports stars, movie and TV stars, rock stars, etc. have to obey laws like common people? They bring joy to our lives and thus they should never face more than an hour in jail no matter who they kill, rape, or rob. It is a price society pays for having the celebrities allow us to view them, listen to them, etc. We- the average folk- are privileged to have their magnificence within our midst- no matter what damage they bring. We can live vicarioulsy through them and thus we are all blessed by people like OJ, Paris Hilton, Mike Vick,Lindsey Lohan, etc.
(Yes, I'm kidding) Sometimes I think this is the way many Americans actually think...

He must have taken too many knocks to the head to be so stupid as to be involved in this after being acquitted of double murder. How hard would it be to lay low and play golf somewhere for the rest of your life? What an idiot.

do you guys really think oj killed those two? and walked away from a double murder. i think not.the courts wouldve tryed everything in their power to get oj un jail by any means necesary. period. oj did commit roberry with his thugsand prosecuted without any mistakes.

they pic on this poor man just because hes black and dates white women, if he was white and dates black women then they would leave him alone.I hope Jesse jackson does something about this. Brothers need to stand as one against whites

I am sorry Rock, don't agree. Whether OJ Simpson dated white or black (whatever) he is a creep. When he first went on trial for murder, I felt sorry for him. I really didn't think he did it (Maybe because of who he was I didn't want to beleive it). Over the years since he as aquitted, I have changed my mind. He wrote a book, almost indicating that he did kill her (can't be tried twice). Now he breaks in to steal stuff. I feel sorry for his kids. Let him sit in prison.

if oj did do it, may gos have mercy on his soul. and rock, how can you say brothers have to stand as one? are you talking about black brothers? if so, we as black , brown colored need to stand and band together to get our youths together first and foremost.everyone in our community needs to take a stand against violence . can i get an amen?

AMEN! I could care less about OJ but i do care about the future of our young men out here that need for you "brothers" to stand up and guide them in the right direction! This OJ crap is really not important at all to me, and for alot of people to sit here and say oooh they finally got him, whatever, it's not the same crime and he was aquitted weather he did it or not they will never get a conviction for it so let those people rest in peace and the family really needs to put some closure to this. It's really getting old .....ps i think he did it!!

If you stand as one race you will be alone as one race! It is your views that divide and cuase society to never come together as one! But if you truly feel that way, go stand along side OJ. I hope all others will go another direction in life and come togather as all in one regardless of race. Your veiws are no solution, it is the problem that causes racism. How do you think hate can some how make things better? Whatever your choices are in life, I truly wish you well, you will need it with your views of people. The world is far more colorful then just Black & white! Remeber our children will only live by our example.

You have got to be kidding me??? Ojay walks away from a double murder and now he could get 30 years for stealing???? His own stuff???? This is like the movie he played in "AIRPLANE".... I have now got to say it,,,I have finally heard it all!!!!!!

I care a great deal about animal welfare. I am appalled by the amount of animal abuse that is reported daily and I use every opportunity I have to push for stronger laws to punish those who abuse innocent animals.I strongly encourage everyone who agrees to speak out for animals. I consider myself an independent- not aligned with the Republican or Democratic party. I love the United States with a passion and offer insight and criticism to make this country as great as our Founding Fathers envisioned.
