I know a lot of people are stuck in their old ways, but a change is good! after all this time of people denying racism, the same people would rather vote for a Repub. than see a blackman as president. How does that  look to the whole world, when the USA ,goes aroung criticizing others, but we still have that ole racist mentality, we hAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OVERCOME !  tHE FUNNY THING IS THAT THE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS  OF ALL RACES, WELCOME CHANGE, BUT THE OLDER PEOPLE PEFER TO STICK WITH THE OLD RACIST WAYS THAT GOT THEM NOWHERE!

SHAME,SHAME SHAME

Being a Republican does not make a person racist. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.

I'm a republican because I agree with MOST Republican views and values.

I heard on the news last night that 3 people were arrested in connection to a plot to assasinate Obama. I will agree that it is most likely because of his color and NOT his political beliefs. As an American, this disguts me!!!

Hiya Gyro! I concur.

There are millions of people in this country that are Republicans because the Republicans fall in line with personal beliefs & priorities.

It has nothing to do with color........only in the narrow minds of the racists, who are mostly just like YOU hughley...........insisting that anyone who doesn't vote for Oblahblah HAS to be a racist.

Color only matters to people like YOU, who are voting ONLY based on color. So, WHO'S the racist here?

Oh here we go... another black person claiming not to be racist just like many white people do the same. Don't act like black people aren't racist... I see it everyday! Perhaps you're not but NEITHER are ALL REPUBLICANS!

dprin, you are a hateful person with no class and it shows.

schannel and gyro handled the post with class and did not attack kehughley. They both gave their opinion in a respectful way, they disagreed but were not disagreeable.

You came out like an attack dog!

Other than the "change" being a black man in office, what other "CHANGES" does this candidate have to offer? I have been pondering that question for many months, but so far, cannot seem to get an answer other than to see him flip-flop on various issues, depending on which is the most popular to gain votes.

Please OH PLEASE can anyone tell me what the CHANGE is that I keep seeing on T-shirts, banners, etc., etc.? If it's simply to get a black person in office, I agree with dprin - that's wrong and racist in itself.

awwww cleve, i have asked and asked that very same question.........WHAT CHANGE? HOW? WHEN? details please.........i have also asked this one: WHY?

no answer from any obamatron.......

as far as i can see, that's the main attraction, is he's black & gives a nice speech (as long as someone else writes it & the teleprompter is on)

To Obama, “change” is personified by a running mate who has been in Washington for about 10 years longer than John McCain has…..

lol cleve......don't hold yer breath there hon.......you'll be looking like the two old wrinkly grey haired old dudes before you get an answer.

dprin - I know, I know, but I keep holding out for a miracle that someone can finally say what this change is and why they support this man. I still believe Obama has this power to brainwash these people - kind of like a telepathy. The people have no idea why, but they just support him. Such a scary thing!

Oh, and "medea" has a hard on for anyone who doesn't support her guy. I would think that with the way she's always posting bashes about McCain and others, she'd at least back up her issue as to why Obama is so darned special!

cleve hon, medea is the perfect example of the blind follower.................and just wait, it won't be long before she's telling us ALL that we are afraid of oblahblah & we are ALL racists because we don't adore him like she does.

the saddest thing is that these obamatrons don't even consider how ridiculous the race & fear argument is..........they actually think it bolsters their argument. LOL

how horribly disappointed they will ALL be when he loses in November & they go to rioting in the streets because it was stolen from the "black man"

Well, SHOULD he get in by a miracle, these followers will soon eat their words and regret ever supporting him. Think this country is in bad shape, now? Just wait! If this man gets in there's no telling how bad our country will go down the toilet!

I truly think that his supporters are going for him because, and ONLY because, he's black and nothing more. I have nothing against the skin color 'cause had Colin Powell been in the running, I think I'd support him whole heartedly. I just don't trust this Obama and I think he's only in this for himself and NOT for the people.

Of course, in all honesty, I'm not too crazy about McCain, either. This has got to be one of the hardest elections for me ever! I don't care for either party and at this point, I think I'll vote Nader just so I don't have to feel at fault with the other two.

Like I've always said, dprin, I claim to be neither party, but for the best person. In this case, I really don't think we have a best person!

Hmm.... dprin! I think I've answered my own question about the "change!" The change is the fact that we've never had a black president and these people just want to have one in office after all these years. That, I think, IS the change about which everyone speaks. How sad if that is the case.

you are right again cleve........if that is the "change" they are looking for, that is pathetic.

who gives a crapppp what color his skin is? also, the obamatrons seem to have forgotten that he is also WHITE...........

so if he is elected, their "change" of having a black man in the white house will be negated by also having a white man in the white house. oh my! what a conumdrum! what shall we do? LOL

if we are doing the math (i like the math lol) if he gets in, we will have 1 1/2 white men in the white house & 1/2 a black man. hmmmmmmmm

Democrats didn’t vote for Ken Blackwell when he ran for Governor of Ohio, so does that make them all racists?

Democrats were opposed to the nomination of Clarence Thomas for Supreme Court Judge. Did that make them racists?

I wonder when Democrats will end their racist ways and start to vote for black candidates?

Its has nothing to do with his color. It is all about his character and beliefs. I would vote for Colin Luther Powell if he was running on the republican ticket.

i would too whiteneck, in a second! condo rice as well.........she would be a GREAT VP for McCain!

it's the same old story, when the racists don't get what they want or think they deserve, hide behind the RACE CARD.........no matter how stupid & ridiculous it is.

good point hybrid.........if it's all about color then why is the majority of our congress (democrat majority) WHITE?
