I just wonder if the picture of LeBron was his reaction to the story about his speeding. LOL (Laugh out loud) To me he looks like the cat who ate the canary so to speak. I hope that he had fun. I think we all have gone way to fast in our cars once in a while. Some cars when driving a car. I wonder what that speeding ticket cost. God bless and have a great day from Karl.

101 in a 65 !!! WOW... now thats a bit over board even for 230 in the morning. What was he thinking? I believe the Cavs need to have a chat with him. A powerful car and a YOUNG inexperienced driver really don't mix.
He was lucky this time!
Happy New Year All
Alex

I can`t believe chemist. He claims to be a driver on the IHRA circuit but condones high speed driving on our` highways. Kind`a makes you think the elevator doesn`t go to the top floor, huh ?

Open your eyes Casey, Chemist is a female...

a female that did the same stupid thing 9 years ago... I was 22 years old, had a brand new 99 Mustang GT and guess what I did? I opened her up on 271... I am not the first one to do it... and I surely won't be the last...

Am I saying it is the right thing to do? No but I am saying that you people are making way to big of a deal out of this...

Casey I bet you are the jerk that I was stuck behind last night... going 40 on I-90... I should have called the cops on the moron that needs to have their license taken away for wreckless opp.. by driving like an old fart!!

Chemist - did you not state on Toyman`s blog that you were a professional IHRA driver ? And as a PROFESSIONAL driver, have you not learned the place for speed and the place for safe, responsible vehicle operation ?
Now, regarding a " jerk " doing 40 on I-90. That`s the flip side of the coin. By impeding traffic flow, you also create a traffic hazzard.
As for your` 99 Mustang, why did you not take it to the track to " open her up "? That way you would not present a danger to other motorists. And as for driving around you, I certainly hope not. The way you say you drive, no motorist is safe around you !

P.S. - If a PROFESSIONAL driver won`t make a case for safe and sane operation, WHO WILL ?

I really believe that we as a people put great expectations on people because their name shows up in lights. No matter who we as a people have made LeBron out to be at the end of the day he is still human. A young man with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Everything he does will be met with adversity whether it is good or bad. We must keep in mind that it is our responsibility to teach our children what is right and wrong and stop expecting them to take their lead from celebrities. LeBron may have exceeded his status with the world but my concern is his status with the Lord. Please understand that I am not in anyway condoning LeBron's behavior he is completely out of order in the message that he is sending to those who chose to look up to him. Sex out of wedlock, breaking the laws of the land, what will he do next? More importantly what will we do next to make sure that he receives the punishment that is just to all no matter what your name is. If we allow this behavior because we are afraid of loosing the money that he brings into Cleveland, than we must remember that if a better offer presents itself, no matter how much he has been allowed to get away with just like every other athlete that has proclaimed to love Cleveland we will soon become WITNESS that nothing is more important than money.

Oh come one now... I can think of way worse things that sports stars are doing now adays. Its not like he killed someone, did drugs, or raped someone. He got cought doing something that 100% of American drives have ALL done at one point or another, with the exception of maybe my grandma who drives slower then molasses in January!!! Is 100 mph dangerous? Yes it is, but as the news said hundreds of people a year get cought driving over 100mph down I-71. Heck I have come close myself!! But he owned up to his actions on TV and admitted it was wrong. He is required to appear in court for this charge and he will face the consequances and learn a lesson. He is a great guy, I have met him a few times, and he made an honest mistake!!
