When I was a teenager (which was in the late 70s early 80s) our parents were allowed to punish us as they saw fit. We got whipped with a switch if we did something we knew we were not supposed to do. If they would have never taken that away from the parents then there might not be as many bad kids as there are. I do not agree at all with the courts charging the parents for what the kids do. These kids know right from wrong and we cannot keep them at home all the time and we cannot follow them everywhere they go. This is so ridiculous and I disagree with it 100%.
