This is way I see the election, Polls were nearly neck to neck with Obama having the slight advantage by a few percent.  What this shows me is people are half decided between the capabilities of Obama v/s McCain. Now what the election will come down to is the difference and or capabilities of the choices between the Vice Presidents each presidential candidate chooses.  So the topic remains, who comes out on top between McCain’s or Obama’s choice of leadership and experience in the event of one’s demise to take their place and lead our country Biden or Palin?

You have to be joking? How does this qualify anyone? Remember that last Miss America competition when that contestant answered some question so crazy it made the international news? Please, someone remember who she was; I think she was from SC? McCain has to do, and certainly could have done much better than this! I'm not for any of these presidential candidates and therefore have no interest in the outcomes of this election .But please think hard about what and who you are supporting here. Think, if Obama would have made such a choice what a joke it would have been and for sure have ended any thought what so ever in his chances to win this election of losers. Let’s all be real here and face it, Obama was neck to neck in this election with a slight edge up to date. Now you think McCain is better off with His choice of Vp against Biden? Your living in a fantasy land and need damage control immediately! Come time for debate against these two VP’s, Biden will eat her alive for he will only have to reflect on answers that he deals with on a day to day basis. We already know Obama can outwit McCain on speeches. Wait till you see what Biden does to this Prom queens claim to fame. She is way out of her league come time for national debate and I think the democratic party will take full advantage of this.

Last night during the convention I thought that John McCain not only showed a great stragity. but showed a touch of class by airing the advertisement congragulating Obamma for making history and a job well done. Now thats a leader and a smart politition

True, I only wonder if he thought of it or his campaign manager? Even so, That has nothing to do or prove he is ready to lead anything but a commercial. Besides Mcains convention is yet to come, what makes you think Obama will not do the same? Why would Obama give the same response to McCain if the the republican convention has not taken place yet? It makes no logic to base a claim as yours based on that.

A good leader is one who puts smart people in place to help him give the correct response to things. Whether he thought of it or someone else in his campaign did, the buck stops with McCain and it showed class.

The polls have nose dived since Obama was horrible in the Saddleback debate and Now that Obama picked a Primary loser and Washington insider for his 'change', watch McCain pull away. The only reason Obama is getting the poll numbers he gets is that MSNBC and Liberal Agenda media is talking up a unqualified person like Obama.

Watch for Mccain to put a licking to Obama in the Nov election in the Electorial college.

People are not buying what Obama is selling and at least Palin doesnt have one friend who bombed the Pentagon and NY POLICE or hates WHitey and Hate USA preacher pal and a corrupt Campaign donor.

with the electorial votes being talked about them making the next President I feel as though my vote doesn't actual count. I was going to vote for McCain but since he brought in this white witch from Alaska on board I will not cast my vote for him now. nor will I give my vote for obama- I'll just vote on the issues and for the next 4 years I won't have a president.

I’m not buying it…if you were truly planning to vote for McCain in the first place, you wouldn’t switch your vote to Obama simply because of who McCain selected as a running mate.

Obama & McCain differ so sharply on just about every issue and most people have a preference of either 1 or the other, and running mates rarely ever factor into the equation except during the Vice Presidential debate.

Americans by in large vote for the top of the ticket, if they didn’t then there is no way that Dan Quayle would’ve been picked as a better choice over Lloyd Bentsen back in 1988….

Actually, McCain is way out in front simply becuase old people won't participate on telephone polls. They just grunt and hang up. McCain by 10 percent, EZ.

Are you a colored boy, gangster? You strike me as a colored boy.

hacksaw- you don't have to buy anything- I am not selling! re- read my comment ...I am not casting a vote for either cadidate! and it does matter to me who mccain picked- i lke the fact that she is against abortion- but she doesn't care about saving our wild life or the environment , I emailed her to stop the airel slaughter on wolves, they are even shooting in the head new born pups and unweaned babies mighty hunters ego suckers! this is not a sport its cruel slaughter for men who like to think they are so bad! who enjoy playing with guns and can't wait to kill something- then they should be put in the front lines! I don't trust obama- we got our finest fighting a bunch of " mohammads & husseins" and now they want to put one in the white house?! not with my vote!

There are plenty of third party candidates who would just love your vote, but unfortunately either Barack Obama or John McCain will be our next President, and I prefer to cast my vote to state my preference between the two of them….

If you're an American citizen, then you'll have a President whether you voted for them or not...

I'm casting my vote, and making my singular voice heard and if the candidate I chose does not win, at least I will know that I've done my part.

I am voting. I agree hacksaw. If whom I vote for doesn't win, then I have a right to complain about things when they go wrong. As I always do my part.
