Ricky, as you can tell by the map every state gets a different amount of electoral votes. The amount that each state is allocated is based on the amount of U.S. Representatives plus the two senators from each state. The amount of population in a state decides how many Representatives it has. I hope this has helped you out. My poly sci classes were always my favorite. Any other help I can give you just yell.

Gamer, you would think Ricky would have learned about our electoral system at college or high school! Guess he was busy partying.

The only college I am against is the electoral college. This does NOT reflect the will of the majority of the people on which our` democracy is based.
