Everyone has a story to tell and I would love for people to tell what has made them successful in life.

Hey gammer:

I would say my Parents, Wife and children. made me who I am today. Success to me is seeing them all happy.

I would say my parents, family, husband and children.

I come from a long line of military service family and have married into the military myself. And I believe the people I have met and cross paths with have enriched my life in so many ways. For which has made me a better person. I learned that opportunity is a scarce commodity so strive to being the best no matter what you do and on your worse day it is really nothing at all compared to so many...

I realized although financial wealth is a plus, but you can have wealth and still be poor..One only has to look at Paris Hilton, who is rich but lives poorly...

Success is being able to achieve and accomplish in your own right and do not fork the blame on anyone else if you have not achieved until you have tried and then try again...

So I wouldn't take nothing from my journey in life so far that alone is success.

These are things that I think make one succesful in life:
1. A strong faith.
2. A positive attitude.
3. A supportive spouse or partner.
4. Lots of friends.
5. A strong work ethic.
6. A loving family.
7. An appreciation of the simple things in life.
8. And sometimes - luck!

These are my choices and what works for me, not necessarily in that order, and not necessarily applying to everyone out there who may have some or more of these!

Gamer, I really like this one. I measure my success in very humble ways. I am the best parent, daughter, family memember etc. I work hard, and I continue to challenge "MYSELF". I'm a real friend, in every sense. I love "MY" God. I do my best to trust and obey. Hey, in my book, that's pretty darn succesful !

Thanks Mama & Daddy( Dad RIP !)Job well done !!!

Faith seems to stand alone and be the single most strength that helps endure all. I feel success comes from compassion also. It envelopes so many other characteristics. Honesty, sincerity, patience, understanding, conviction and passion. It allows me to recognize many blessings that I would otherwise take for granted. Those of you whom have had the guidance from loving parents are fortunate. I do envy people at times when I see relatives or friends laughing or holding hands with a parent, so those whom credit your mom and dad are a step ahead, are blessed to still have them, and you have a walking, breathing, speaking book of life. Don't ever take that for granted. I told this to Ellak before, I try to live every day with no regrets for the things I have or haven't done. One last thing. We have to adapt to perpetual change and keep an open mind. Thanks Gamer, another nice post !!
