SCHOOLS!!!

As some of you know my second oldest is in kindergarten, as I sat at story time on thurs afterschool I talked with a nother parent about of coarse SCHOOL & our girls she has a first grader. The mom sat & cryed because of her daughters Teacher she has 10year & IS A MONSTER!!! she calls the kids STUPID,
Told one child that he needs to go back to kind. During parent teacher confrence she had told one parent names of parents & kids & there grades & that some of them should not be parents. I was told the other first grade teacher is just as bad!! These teachers are teaching these KIDS TO HATE SCHOOL!
I dont like the 10year thing I believe alot of the teachers stop caring (NOT ALL) about there jobs. I am afraid of first grade. I sign the middle one up for Kind. in FEB. & I am scared these so called teachers will break my oldest she is a introvert & she would just die if someone called her stupid or told her she is slow, or just did not belong. All my girls have Soft Hearts, & would melt your hearts I would just be crushed if they Hated school because of there teachers.

report that teacher, make a ruckus about it, do whatever you have to do. I dealt with the same thing when I was in 3rd grade. At least you have knowledge of it, I kept mum about it for 4 years. Mrs. LaFrance was her name and she told me I was stupid until I believed it.

Uhhh I dont know but my school hasnt been called off for 8 years fells like it no 3 years

They have reported her alot & still nothing I am going with to the school board!

The problem is with tenure that sadly many teachers can get away with pretty much anything. I think you need a bunch of parents if you are really going to send a message.

These kind of teachers irritate me as well as the ones that sleep with their students. There are people like me who are desperately looking for a full time teaching position and can't. When I was in school and I was doing my field placements there were many teachers I came across that didn't belong in a classroom. Not necessarily because they are mean or did anything like this teacher. They just didn't care anymore. I had one teacher that did everything sitting at her desk.

I think alot of teachers just get tired of the stuff that goes on in the schools. Of course this is no excuse to behave the way they do. If they become like that they really aught to consider retiring. I really believe that a shortage of teachers are in our future. No one really wants to deal with the rediculousness of the schools and students. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that anymore.

At our school(plymouth-shiloh) we have a lot of teachers who just don't care there are still some that are great teachers and care greatly for thier students and even there students famlies. But a few bad eggs will spoil the whole bunch.

Both teachers have parents getting attornies to handle this there are about 15-20 parents going nuts over this. I just dont wont my baby girl to hate school next year!
I should add my kind. got her report card last thursday & recieved the highest marks in all areas she is also in the AR CLASS!!!
so she is very SMART!

first of all was hard to read your blog, so hard to make sense but what i am getting is that you need to go to through the chain of command, talk to teacher first telling her exactly what you do not like and what you expect from her ( the only way they will know) if still nothing, then principal, supt then school board, all this is coming from a school board member you must go through the chain in order to get things done right. i have been in your place, that is why i ran for school board, but have found that it ultimately ends up on Supt lap. and usually his/her decision.

I am married with 4 Awsome kids Ages 12, 6, 5, & 3.we have two Lazy dogs.They are 3. There mom was A Golden & Dad was a Collie. They are my Babys!!!!!
