Many years ago when I was a child, my parents would beat My A** if I ever thought of doing what these Kids today are getting away with! Time out what the hell is that? Today’s society created their own problems and then, we blame our kids. Good kids are a product of good parenting. How many of the parents reading this was brought up with a time out for acting a fool? If a young child was trying to stick their tongue into a electrical outlet, Are you going to give them a time out? Or are you going to slap the sauce out their mouth? I bet you if you slap the mess out them, they won’t be trying that no more!!!!!!

Also, we had Dress uniforms in school. Nothing fancy, just a Dress shirt and pants. We looked respectful. In addition, back in the day, Kids did much better in school. Or they faced the Principle with that big old paddle he kept on the wall behind his desk! Principles and Teachers had discipline back then too. Now a day, Principles and Teachers are having relationships with these kids instead! We need to go back to the old days when all the Teachers was OLD and UGLY. That would fix all that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time out is a government word that tells you how you can discipline your children. It is sad that in today's world you can't discipline your children the way they should be, but yet the government can hold parents accountable for the child's action. It will be a cold day in hell that I get arrested for something my child decided to do when I was not around. You teach your kids morals and try to steer them in the right direction, it is up to them to decide what is right from wrong. Everyone knows how teenagers are. What they do in front of you is not always what they do when you are not around.

hooaah to all these peoples comments

It appears these days daycare and school are not responsible for teaching children morals. But unfortunately there are too many dual income families. No sexism, dads can stay home and let mom make the money, but lets have a parent around to keep tabs on their kids.

I like the French peoples concept. they don't care they make a lot less a year and cannot afford luxuries many here take for granted. They refuse to give up the 2-3 hour lunch break taken by the family as a whole. They also get an average of 2 months vacation time, spent again as a family taken of course over the summer months while their kids are not at school.
