Can you imaginge if Hillary wins a floor vote?

I Smell a Clinton Coup Brewing
By JB Williams Tuesday, August 19, 2008

After Barockstar?s near fatal empty suit performance at Saddleback Saturday, the Obama spin machine is in damage control overdrive. I wonder if they?ve had time to realize that they have been triangulated by the Clinton war room and set up to take a fall at the DNC convention?

That old Clinton war room stench is in the air again? It seems the empty suit and his empty headed staff is not quite up to speed on Clintonian strategeries.

Consider the latest Clinton maneuvers
? Camp Clinton convinced Camp Obama to help liquidate her campaign debts.
? Camp Clinton convinced Camp Obama to call for Florida and Michigan voters to be counted. It?s the right thing to do, of course. But had it already been done, Hillary would already be the nominee.
? Camp Clinton convinces Camp Obama to agree to a floor vote at the convention when all the cameras will be rolling. What if Clinton wins on the floor?
? Camp Clinton removes Obama supporter John Edwards from the equation, along with his scheduled convention speaking spot, on the basis that he is now a known lying cheater. But Bill Clinton (also a known lying cheater) is the headliner of the convention, and he?s not an Obama supporter at all.
? Barockstar tanks on national TV only days before the convention and his campaign staff is sent out to do damage control, leaving the super-delegates gasping in a holy BLEEP moment, with the sudden realization that this empty suit is in no way ready for the big show. Only a promise to make a VP announcement this week can get his failed TV appearance off the front pages.
? Meanwhile, Camp Clinton is mobilizing millions of NObama minions and staging a convention coup in which Hillary can ride in on silver steed to save the party from complete implosion on an international stage?

Even James Carville, Dick Morris and Oliver Stone combined, could not have written this script any better. All we need is a second gunman on the grassy knoll. Howard Dean maybe?

The fact that millions of Democrat voters were intentionally disenfranchised by their own party in the primaries leaves the chosen one the prime target of too many in-house enemies. And nobody in American politics is better at organizing, mobilizing and exploiting in-house enemies than the Clintons.

Barockstar?s off-teleprompter performances consistently make George Bush look like a silver tongued genius. That fact makes even the most ardent Obama supporters second guess their early hypnotic socialist driven lust for the chosen one.

Ship Obama is taking on water faster than the spin machine can bail. The DNC is going to need a new savior by this time next week and guess who is positioned to save the party?

The super-delegates are not bound by their verbal commitments of support for Obama. With each passing hour, Barockstar convinces more and more Americans, including delegates, that his empty suit is only outdone by his empty head.

Without a teleprompter, Obama?s inexperience becomes glaringly obvious. Face it; Obama lost Saturday?s open forum discussion with a very friendly Rick Warren while McCain was still traveling to the location in his motorcade. Once McCain arrived, all he had to do to win was not follow Barockstar down the toilet.

One must wonder who set this guy up in the first place
Most Americans knew he had little chance of making it to the finish line from the start. Never in history has a less qualified individual sought the highest office in the land with such a blank résumé.

His over-inflated ego made him the perfect mark for a perfect storm. Accidents like this don?t happen in politics, where little is ever left to chance.

Who set this naïve freshman up? Whoever it is, they did it magnificently!

This is the problem with pompous pride. It always leaves you blind and vulnerable to your attackers. The freshman nobody had no chance. He was a minnow swimming among sharks. In today?s cutthroat DNC, which is caught in a perpetual power struggle, such an inexperienced individual was no match for career political deviants like the Clintons.

The only open question at this point is this; does Hillary have the votes to pull it off?

I wouldn?t lay my money against her!

Can we say strife is still in the democratic party? Or is it just lying and cheating?

I don’t think this is the case at all between the Clintons and the Obama’s. What I see is Hillary showing the Democratic Party her power and that Obama did not have a chance at the presidency without the backing of the Clinton machine. Now with her full support for Obama if he is elected, she stands to be in a good position as perhaps the most powerful woman in the Senate with an open door policy handed directly to her right into the oval office to get things done behind closed doors for her State and any other committee she sits on in the Senate. Not a bad place or position to be in when you can’t be president you may as well settle for a cushy position in your current senate spot with cart blanch service to the white house for anything you need. Obama will be in the Clintons debt for the next 4 years if elected due to the aid of the Clintons backing. One hand scratches the others back in the old way of politics when it comes to the way things get done in Washington.

gangster, i don't agree. maybe hilary will gain power from this, but i don't think she's going to have an open door to obama..........he's too self absorbed to feel like he "owes" something to someone.

We shall see? But Hillary does not offer such a gracious maneuver without some type of beneficial compensation. As for Obama self absorbed? Perhaps he is, however the American people would see this type of thank you to Hillary as expected and failure to do so would reflect negatively towards Obama and we all know he knows what Americans want to hear. So regardless of what he thinks of himself he may be obligated to favor Hillary if that is what the people expect especially the people from New York and all the people who supported Hillary in the beginning who now support Obama per her request. Don’t think for one second Obama will cut his throat by disregarding Hillary once and if elected. Obama is nothing without the senate backing him and Hillary’s will be in the position to do just that.

In addition, McCain is walking a very fine line. He is starting to touch with many Americans every time he opens his mouth in regards to associating with American commonalities. His negative campaign commercials have been negative for his running and failure on his part to find commonality between himself and the American middleclass and housing market is affecting his campaign also. His association with Bush Administration and the State of Florida is also an Issue with the current Governor of the state Bush’s Brother taking heat among the retirees/elderly that make up for much of the populace in the State are angered with the thought of privatizing the social security, loss of over 30% of all home values and par with Ohio on foreclosures all directly tied to the Bush administration and the past 8 years. Fact or not, Americans will not except responsibility for our economic disaster but historically will always point the finger and current administrations are always the best target to start with. Republicans biggest hurdle will be the ability to associate with the big pinch on the American economy and this is where McCain’s biggest issues are. Many of his remarks are out of touch with common Americans who hold valid votes at the polls. McCain has to somehow convince the American people feeling our economic pinch by separating or distancing himself from Bush as appearing as a mini Bush with the same old way of politics as the past 8 years.

When I consider all that Obama did during the 143 days he was in the Senate, I wonder why he needs the Clinton’s help at all. I mean, look at all his accomplishments during those 143 days.

For one thing, he added six states to our country. . .

I don't know dprin, remember Bill did have women in his office there without public knowledge for a long time until he got caught with his britches down.LOL Not that I think Hillary would go through that door. Just might be a closed open door.

Also the democratic convention held in Denver has gone off without a glitch so far and to many, better than expected. This could create a problem for the McCain’s camp in the sense of associating with Americans Families with young children feeling the American economic pinch. If McCain’s message is going to remain the same old politics he will have difficulties in his campaign with old and young American voters alike. It no longer matters who is best qualified for the job, for the majority of Americans don’t have a clue what those qualifications in a president should be or are anyway. McCain’s biggest issues are he represents old politics that people are tired of and is unable to relate to what people want to see and hear in a leader. This gives a big advantage to Obama even if he has no clue on how to run a country. He seems to have the gift of gab and now a vice that knows how to lead and a senate to back it up. This all when added up tilts the scale in Obama’s favor now whether he can pull it all together to advantage and do a good job remains to be seen. As long as republicans continue create scandals against Obama regards to his birth heritage and religion, it will aversively affect the republican parties campaign in the long run and work in Obama’s favor when the republican created rumors are disproved as fast as they created making them look foolish at best by American voters on the fence between the two parties. Old politics are no longer working and failure to see this by the McCain camp will cost him the presidency.

Dprin, whiteneckburnt and Hybrid. Do not forget that we are talking about the majority of Americans. Not the minority of American voters well educated in politics as perhaps you may be. Imagine many women will now be voting for Obama due to the nice dress his wife was wearing for her Denver speech. Believe it or not, this is what politics have come to in America today. Until McCain sees this and separates himself from the old he will have problems. He is old, his views are old and his politics are old. Even though his qualifications are better means nothing when you’re preaching it to country of ……. Well let’s just say uninformed at best and leave it at that.

not just today gangster, but yesterday too.

many women voted for John Kennedy because he was handsome & had nice hair.

Another plus factor for the Obama camp? Not only are the Kennedy's behind him now they are comparing Obama’s wife to Jackie-O? How can McCain compete with that unless he looks younger wears a better dress he may be doomed by the American voters! Stardom means everything today except for rationality. I wonder what Americans will blame or complain of four years from November?

This election is very much like voting for Ronald McDonald or the Burger king guy. Which one of the two interest the public better the two clowns or the food?

Ronald McDonlad reminds me of the republicans "McCain" and that Burger King Guy reminds me of Democrate "Obama" with change of Broiled is better than fried while Wendy from Wendy's is the independent and all the cartoon characters that come with all three represent the congress and senate! the ones with the best commercial or menue of the week get the votes.

What it all boils down to is all three all bad for your health if you swallow too much of it and none of it is worth the money we pay for it and the service is the same no matter where or when, it’s always for the most part bad and sold by inexperienced personnel. Does that pretty much sum things up? Oh and how often does the order come out right? McWashington now McCain and burgbama! from the "Wendy" city of Chicago.

Yes, it was Obama paying Hillary's campaign debt. It was a catch-22 for both.

well it's all a moot point now isn't it? LOL

what a trap those dems have gotten themselves into. they have hilary, who, even though she has a lot of baggage, she also has alot more experience than oblahblah. but they flock to obambi because he's BLACK to show everybody that THEY aren't racists...........

and NOW they have 1 1/2 white men & 1/2 a black man running for pres / vice pres. they are BOTH extreme liberal, which history has made clear to the dems that the extreme liberals don't get elected to the white house. how sad, they go chasing an "idea" & a "show" and this is what they get. all blah blah and no substance.

and hilary? yes, for now she's being a good girl, doing their bidding, but, do you think that she won't get exactly what she wants & make them pay for this? please, she's ruthless in her pursuit!
