The Cleveland Pops Orchestra will be playing at a holiday concert on Saturday December 6th at Avon Lake High School at 7:30PM. Tickets are available for $30 each through the Avon/Avon Lake Rotary. This is a nice holiday concert that features the local school choir and is a great way to have a local evening without going downtown.

I went to the Rod Stewart concert recently at Blossom Music Center. Unfortunately I had to, my 64 year old mother won tickets and wanted to go. She must have felt compelled because she is in his age group. The show was okay except for the venue, the rain and the performer. Never go to Blossom in the rain.
When is enough going to be enough already. It is pretty bad when the term break a leg is being replaced by don't break a hip.
Rod is on what his fourth wife? Alana, Rachel Hunter, his current wife, oh yeh he never married Kelly Emberg in between, they just had kids.
Just retire already and stop chasing the young wives. You have children as old as your women.
The story in the Plain Dealer says it all. Once again the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame gets no respect. The announcement of an annex being opened in New York shows what respect Cleveland is given. No one ever wanted it in Cleveland to begin with. That is shown every year when the induction ceremony is held away from the Museum. You don't see baseball leave Cooperstown, or football leave Canton. The Rock hall is the only hall of fame I know of that does not have their ceremony at the Hall of Fame. How long will it be before New York just builds their own building and they don't even bother with Cleveland.
The only national publicity given to the Rock hall is during the Cavs and Indians playoff games when the out of town broadcasters need something to do on an off day. It gives them something to do in Cleveland.
I am tired of the direspect shown by the music industry and the national media.
