I waited for today's game to be over to write this.  I have to say, not much happened to change my mind.  The Browns are in trouble.  In what was known as the old black and blue division, may leave the Browns just that, black and blue.

I know you are going to say, it is only preseason.  I know these games don't mean anything.  I know many of our players were out hurt.  I know we made some big acquisitions in the off season.

I am sorry, but I am not sipping the Romeo kool-aid.

The offense needs to be more aggressive.  The players need to get healthy and practice together.  Brady Quinn showed today with a first team offensive line against a first team defense, that he in not ready to lead this team.  We better hope Anderson can recover and stay upright like he did last season.

The defense has no secondary and if we do not blitz on every play and put pressure on the quaterback, look for the secondary to change their names to toast and toasted.

The bottom line since Romeo has been the coach, no Cleveland Browns team has ever come into a season looking prepared.  This was the first training camp where we should have known what we had.  The team looks less prepared this year then they did last year with that stupid coin flip.  I hope you still have that coin Romeo, you can give it to Savage later in the season when he is deciding if you should be fired at the end of the year.

Dallas must be licking their chops right now!

How is it Romeo's fault in how the team is playing? Is he wearing a helmet and pads and in uniform with the team? no. the players on the field are making the errors in the game and should know that they can't do that. Blame the players. Blame the ones that got injuried before there game. Blame the ones who failed to learn anything from the last game. But also support the ones on the team that got the team to actually score.
Learn to blame the right people. As for the pre-seasons games...Didn't the browns lose there pre-season games and manage to get a 10-6 WINNING record. Any support for the team or you just like to point out the blame?

Phil Savage has given the coaching staff the tools it needs. He is an excellent in evaluating needs and filling those holes. At that point you turn it over to the coach. I agree that the players play the game. I agree that players are very different today because of the money being made. I look back at the good Indians teams and Mike Hargrove did not get enough credit for his management of egos. Romeo is the leader and it is time to lead.

Pre season is not about wins and losses. Pre season is about evaluating players. It is certainly not a time to show your game plan for the season. Let's wait for the real thing before we get down on the Browns, I think we'll see the REAL Browns when wins and losses actually count. Ever hear of "sand bagging".

The browns are dead before the season starts.I agree with cpafrank, just watch chicago tonight and you will get the big picture.

Ya ok so the browns lost there pre-season games, If they had won the we'd be saying there was something wrong. I really think the clowns will go to super bowl and like every other year they will buy there own tickets to see it. I say bring the Ravens and Art back to Cleveland, Then we will have a winning team..

We dont need Art back, he's not the owner anymore and we dont need the Ravens and their trash talking players.
