As summer is winding down, I thought it might be a good idea to remind everyone why we live in the best location in the nation.

In no particular order:

1. A good dinner of beer battered Lake Erie walleye, Ohio sweet corn, Ohio wine and peach cobbler made from Milan, Ohio peaches.

2. The view from the top of any roller coaster at Cedar Point.

3. The Indians, Browns, Cavs, and High School football.  Go St. Ed's, St. Ignatius, Strongsville, Avon Lake, Glenville, Mentor, Olmsted Falls and many others.

4. The sunrise at 7:30 in the morning at any local golf course, of which there are many, to play nine holes prior to going to work. 

5. The sunset from Huntington Park in Bay Village after spending a day at the beach.

6. A trip to Sugarcreek, Ohio and the rolling hills from the window at the Der Dutchman restaurant.

7. The Lake Erie islands, the fun, sun and the view isn't bad either.

8.  Little Italy and the feast of the Assumption.

9. The Cleveland Orchestra and any of their outdoor concerts.

10.  A walk in the metroparks, hand in hand with the one you love.
