I quit complaining about gas prices and did something about my 14 mile per gallon gas hog.. I got this scooter and now get 60-80- mpg. It gets better mileage then a hybrid and cost less to buy. Not to mention its fun to ride. I also have a Harley but it runs on high test gas and don’t really get any better mileage than most cars.  I had to put my pride on the shelf after riding the Harley and be seen on this 150cc scooter.  How ever when I pay for gas I laugh at the cost. It holds 2 gallons of gas and at the mileage I get  I  drive past the gas station. This thing can go up to 60 mph and is automatic (no shifting) has ABS disk brakes  and is as easy to ride as a bicycle. My Dad is 80 years old and he bought one to ride . My wife has a PINK one. I don’t ask to ride hers” If the weather is bad I have to go back to the gas hog but the money I save the rest of the time is paying for the scooter. They have been doing this in other country’s for years  and I think we my see more scooters and bicycles in the future . See picture in my photos

I almost bought one, not the 150 but the one above that. I thought about it and I wouldn't feel safe driving to work. I drive through and work in a real "high crime/shooting" neighborhood. If I worked in a better area, I would have bought it. Maybe I'll get one next yr. Do you drive on the highway and do you enjoy it?

I don't go on the freeway because this bike has a top speed of about 55 mph but I ride it every time I get a chance . it is fun and easy to ride. At 60-80 mpg I am saving a lot of gas money. I also have a Harley Full dresser but not as good mileage and a lot more work to ride.

LOL...I was behind a guy yesterday on a scooter and he seemed to really like his. He did make me a little nervous, maybe a new rider, we were on Detroit/W85th and I was afraid to pass him cause he looked a little wobbly. I think those are pretty cool but with the kids not such a wise idea. And since I live 3 minutes from my baby girls daycare and work 5 minutes from there I guess I am ok with gas for now.

i think its really funny when i see a giant fat person riding a little motorscooter....it reminds me of when i was a kid and my grandmother would take us to the circus and the clowns would ride those tiny little trikes

I live right up the street on 69th. I grew up in North Olmsted so I really don't fit in at any of the bars around here. I'll go out in North Olmsted somewhere and meet up with some girlfriends and have a couple. I have seen a few nice little spots on Clifton just east of 117th so I may (if I my daughter ever cuts the cord) try some of them.
OMG LOL I have seen some of the larger folks on them as well. but hey they want to save gas to, I don't blame them.

jigs,no i don't blame them either btu i just saying sometimes it just looks a liitle weird, get one that fits you,and dont worry ur daughter will "cut the cord" u just have to have to leave her a little bit at a time,i know its hard but that is what i had to do, you will be able to go "out" again, lol

LOL...I know but when she cries she doesn't stop! She'll get herself all worked up to the point where she's about to vomit! She has the most pitiful face when she cries and that just makes me feel guilty. Most kids complain about their parents "cutting the cord" but I'm just the opposite. It's a bittersweet thing though cause I love the fact that she always wants me but at the same time I need some ADULT conversation. She's starting to potty train and the other night my neigbors were over and I got up and announced that I had to go pee-pee. REAL CUTE!!! They laughed and didn't think anything of it but I felt like an idiot!! LOLOL

oh my godness i would say u need some adult time, and soon,i know those faces well, u know i had this habit of picking up my girl as a baby everytime she cried, well when they are first born doctor said u can't spoil them, but i kept doing it,finally i had to let her cry,it was hard,in fact some of the time i had to go outside or turn the raido up,but believe me if it got to where she was really upset i went in there, didnt pick her up just rubbed her back and let her know mommy didnt leave it broke my heart when i had to do it,but doctor assures me it was for the best,(best for who, certainly not my heart lol)

I hear you. When their babies you can spoil them but who cares, their babies for Gods sake, who doesn't want to hold and cuddle them. Well today will be a test for her, I am going to get her new disney princess bedroom set today so she is staying with a couple of friends and concidering the fact that she absolutly loves them and vise versa, I am hoping she will be ok. Doctors are good for telling you to do things even though it breaks your heart, I bet they don't do it with their own children though

I play in a band on weekends and am a electronic tech during the day. Some say I have a twisted sence of humor. They may be correct. I used to be a 1%er biker years ago, now Im just a creepy old man. I still have my 69 FLH and still ride but no colors.
