In the past I have supported and attended the " X Games ", now known as the " Dew Tour ". This year, as usual, I took my grandchildren. My 10 year old grandson saved his grass cutting money to buy a skate board in hopes of seeing one of his favorite skaters and get an autograph. We went on Saturday at 3 p.m. What I would consider the heart of a Friday thru Sunday show. After, and only after I purchased tickets did the sales person tell me the skate park was " temporarily closed ". What he failed to tell me was that not only the skate park, but the moto-cross venue was also closed, closed for the rest of the day, leaving only one venue open for the remaining 5 hours of the show. The Vertical ramp.
A sign posted by the entrance said the General Admission tickets may not provide for seating. Fine! As in the past we have been able to stand and watch events when there was no seating. But the Vert was the only venue open and with 20,000 people, there was not even a chance to get close to seeing anything. Basically it turned out to be $80.00 plus gas to get a skate board key chain and a little nylon bag with Dew Tour on it.
I had asked for a refund ten minutes after entering the gate and was told, " nothing we can do, file a complaint" ! To top it off, my grandson knows how expensive everything there is, so he decided to pack a little lunch box type bag with snacks. NOT ALLOWED IN!! My daughter had to walk it all the way back to the car before she came in. $5.00 for a bottle of water. What a shame and what a sham this whole thing was. Its not about kids, its not about family or fun, its about money. I've written to the sponsor of the show, of course no response! I'm sure there are many kids that had a great time. Maybe those were the $35.00 or the $100.00 tickets? !

Big Huge Muscle Guy Pretty Much Scaring The Hell Out Of Everyone He Bumps Into

Carbo load! You wish you were me! You wish you were me! RAaaaaaarrrrRRR...
RRRrrr....aaahhhhh!!
IRON CITY , PA - Iron City bodybuilding enthusiast Eddie Tufts was recently observed "scaring the hell out of pretty much everyone he bumps into" according to his anxiously alarmed girlfriend Trisha Ziske.
"I-It's getting crazy! Eddie is so massive and bulked up, I think this whole weight lifting thing has totally consumed him. It's like he turns into a mad Hulk or something, and rails on and on about how huge he is. I-I can't take it anymore!*sob*!"
Friends and family of Tufts have recanted tales of him insanely ranting "Minimum weight 205, max weight 215! Keep my run below 14 flat at least, separation and vascularity in the arms, legs, losing the gut and watching abs emerge. Good stuff! Cardio diet! You wish you were me! You WISH you were me!" to pretty much anyone within eye range or earshot.
"We can't stop him!" Bemoaned Ziske. "He benches everything in sight. He lifts riding mowers over his head with riders on them, baby carriages with babies in them and even turned 2 fully loaded shopping carts into curling irons! The steroids must have gone straight to his brain. He outta control!"
Other tales recounted Tufts lifting the rear wheels of convertible Volkswagen Golfs at red lights, ripping the top of beer cans off with his teeth and even cracking walnuts without a nutcracker, and without his hands, neither.
Eventually, Tufts would come down off of his chaotic cardiovascular high after a series of sudden agonizing muscular rips and abdominal tears, the worst of which was heard, not to mention whiffed, clean over in McKees Rocks.

I am so tired of seeing in Hollywood, who has slept with who and who left their wife for someone else. A Rod a great baseball player and now he is in the news linked to Madonna. (True or Not True) is the question. I believe that there is somthing going on with those two. I watched the opening of the All-Stars game the other day and when he was introduced he didn't look happy. It looked like he had been crying. It has been in the news before that he has cheated on his wife in the past. She forgave him. Why would he put himself in that situation again. Why is it when a man gets a good woman they mess it up by cheating and laying with the first thing they see.
I am so sick of celebrity ball players and celebrites sleeping around running from different peoples beds. ' How nasty is that"What happened to asking God to bless you with a mate and stick with that person. Love, Honor and cherish. I guess that means nothing to some people these days.

I like the way the Cleveland Browns are coming together this year. I would like to go on the record and say that I think the Cleveland Browns will go to the super bowl and win it this 2008-2009 season. I would feel better if Brady Quinn was the quarterback. Having no draft picks is not a problem. I think that the Browns will have a 12-4 record if not better. Tell me what you think and let the bet be either you or I will post a bog saying that you were wrong and I was right. God bless and have a great day, Karl.

This is REDICULOUS... My daughter is 11 yrs. old and when we lived in Cincinnati, she played for the St. Dominic Blackhawks. She went from playing just a couple minutes at the end of the games to starting every game. She's taken hits that would make everyone cringe. She was pinned against some kids on her team big enough to make me run.. and I'm a bouncer.. ( no, I'm not huge,, I'm a size 6, 35 yr. old, 129 lb. 5 ft 2 in. little white girl ).. This child has come home with the usual bruises on the non-padded areas and such, but she LOVED it, and didn't care at all about those little bruises.. I say this is sexist and an outrage..
This poor little girl only wants to do what she loves. Just like my daughter.. GET A GRIP people.. Girls are by far tougher than most boys. Those who think otherwise need to grow up and get a clue.
Both my husband and I am sickened.

The Good Ship Wahoo has certainly hit some rough water. It reminds me all too much of baseball summers when I was a kid. August would arrive and the team would be 15 or more games back. I would think up little goals for them, like beating the Yankees, or getting to .500, etc. I'm afraid that might be the pattern for this year. If you're a fan, then you stick with the team. If you boarded the ship in 1995, when the water was smooth, now is the time to put on that bright red life vest and hang on tight. I'm going to Canal Park tonight to watch Matt LaPorta. (I can't help it: Any old LaPorta in a storm)
