On a chilly, wet, Thursday afternoon 4/10/2008,in Cleveland, I met singer/songwriter Jason Mraz courtesy of a contest by a local radio station. The meet-and-greet was at a recording studio in Downtown cleveland. First, Jason, accompanied by drummer Toca Rivera, played five songs for us contest winners (there were a good many of us; more than for the Lifehouse meet-and-greet and men and women were present; the audience at the Lifehouse meet and greet was all female). He featured three songs from his upcoming new album "we sing, we dance, we steal thing" ( i kind of dig that title), including the new single "I'm yours" and he played two songs from his debut album "Waiting for my rocket to come": "The Remedy" and " You and I both". I think after hearing the three songs from the new cd, I think I will buy it. I enjoyed his upbeat and rather funky performance. He is a talented musician and he's funny and has a good voice and he is a also a nice guy. He is also kind of good looking. After performing the five songs, he took pictures with us fans and signed autographs and talked a bit to each of us. I enjoyed hearing him and meeting him, as did my friend who was with me. I saw him perform in concert in 2004 and that was an enjoyable show at the Palace theater here in Cleveland. Thank you, Jason, and please come back soon to Cleveland

It is always good to meet muscians that are nice and straight forward with you. I believe that there talent is all that needs to be displayed. The drama that you see in news these days with popstars is not acceptable behavior. Stick to the job, the passion that some muscians have for the job is all we need to see.
