Last Thursday(2/21/08), I watched "American Idol" alumnus Chris Daughtry and his band Daughtry perform on PBS "Soundstage. They played songs from their debut album in the 55 minute show, which is also called "Daughtry", including the familiar "It's not over", "Home", and the lastest single "Feels like tonight". This was the first concert I have actually seen by them on tv or in person and I did enjoy the upbeat performance, although Chris did sometimes have a tendancy to try too hard, like when he used a megaphone during the concert. I found that a bit unnecessary. He has a decent voice, but the lyrics of the songs (the songs are good) tend to get repetitious. Still, Chris and co. are off to a promising start. They showed plenty of potential. I give their performance a "B+" and wish Daughtry good luck and continued success

I watched the show also.
I'd give him a c-

I was looking for an outstanding show but as
you stated c1975, "the lyrics of the songs (the songs are good) tend to get repetitious."

My opinion...
Like many other bands, if you hear one song, you've heard them all.

I wish I would have known he was on, He is one of my favorites. I liked him on American Idol and really like him now. It's kinda sad that you both think his show was not up to par. Unfortuantly I can't either agree or disagree so hopefully I will catch it next time.
