Just out of curiosity. A blog about having a hard time meeting good people to date made me think. My boyfriend of three plus years was a friend of mine for two years before we started dating. So consider your marriage or long term relationship. Did you start off as friends? Or some way else. There is a lot to be said about friends first though. I found with my relationship with my current boyfriend to have started off deeper than my other relationships. Just my two cents.

I agree with you. My boyfriend and I were friends before we started dating. We dated in high school broke up after high school for a year or so and are back together. One thing I know is being friends first is the best. You can be more comfortable with eachother I think.

I do agree with you on that. Guess I better take a closer look at my friends, most of them are married or gay. And I don't believe in cheating so......Friendship is always important in a relationship. I look at my parents who have been married 32 years and are like best friends.

Friends first, that is the bestway, but friends can betray too.... Today you have to be real careful, people change thru the days and months of the years or something goes wackco!! Women really change win they hit the change of life and drive the love of thier life away....sorry it's the truth... men go thru a mid life crisis and they go wacko.. so you better find some who will be alble to put up with changes, because they will come at anyone hard and fast so be prepared.... the greatest play, if you get a chance see it is "I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE!!"
see that play it might help you as to what lies ahead of you, it's worth every dollar to see it.
