Don't you think it is time to do something about the Pitbull problem? Senseless maulings are happening way too often. I think the breed should be made illegal to sell, breed, or even to own. It is illegal to have wild animals for pets, Pitbulls have a WILD gene that makes them untrustworthy around humans. 

I know we want the freedom to own any kind of dog  we want, but children are more important than dogs. All you people who LOVE your Pitbulls could learn to love another breed just as well. In my opinion Pitbulls are the ugliest dog there is and I wouln't miss them if they were out-lawed. If they STOP PRODUCING them, the mauling problem would be stopped.

I don't care how sweet and loving your Pitbull is, it can't be totally trusted. That may go for any breed of dog, but you don't hear on the news every month that somebody was mauled or killed by a Yorkie .

   I think the reason the economy is crawling is because gasoline is eating it up! It's like playing Pac-Man. Chomp. chomp, chomp. You get a little raise...the gas pumps take it. You get a hike in mimimum wages...the gas pumps take it. You get a little more Social Security...chomp, chomp, chomp. 

   If the gas station only gets 6 cents out of every gallon of gas...where does the other $2.94 go? Ok,at least  46 cents goes to the state ...that still leaves $2.48. Of course you have to pay  to transport it, and pay the workers...but there is huge chunk of American money going somewhere. Have you noticed all the vehicles on the road these days?

    Perhaps the money is all going to rebuild Iraq. Blow it up...then rebuild it. Make all the Americans pay for it.

    There are alot of houses for sale...nobody buying. With gas and taxes, nobody wants to take a chance right now.
 

   Here is what I think about this idea. It is true that some kids will try hard to keep their parents from getting into trouble. But what about the other ones...the ones who would do things on purpose to get their parents put in jail? Teenagers do things without really thinking of the consequences...spontaneously. There are kids out there who would think it is "cool" to get the parents put away. There are kids who would do something to seek revenge...for something like being grounded.

   The bottom line is when parents take the blame for the actions of the teenagers...the teenagers do not have to take responsibility for their own actions. Blame somebody else...blame the parents...blame...blame...blame. They will go through life blaming somebody else for everything that goes wrong. Any psychologist would tell you that this type of thinking would have dire consequences.

    I am not from Cleveland, and my kids are responsible adults, so the decision on the matter will not affect me at all...but I believe people of all ages should be made to take responsibility...perhaps harsher punishment. Blaming sombody else is not the way to go, in my opinion.
 

The story about hogs eating tainted food is a scary one. I think deep down, we are all expecting to find out that human food is tainted. Perhaps a plot to end obesity? Finding poison in pork would create a panic situation.

We all have heard about the evils of processed food. Ever read the labels? Humans have also been eating foods with wheat gluten and rice protein. Also. what in the world are natural flavors? Melamine?

Pork prices will soon be cheap. Who wants to take a chance in eating tainted meat?
