Well, the Presidential candidates have chosen their running mates and they're ready to go. I can plainly see why McCain chose his running mate. However, we're not voting for VP at this point. We're voting for a president. That's why the logical choice is STILL Barak Obama. Although Palin makes for exceptional eye candy, God forbid, she'd be in charge of our country. Obama is the only candidate who is making any sensible choices. Eight is enough!

Logical choice would be Mccain, he can deliver the change we need. I don't want promises.

Wernerd - “That's why the logical choice is STILL Barak Obama.”

Right. When I consider all that Obama achieved as a Senator in the 143 DAYS he served, and recount all the great leadership legislation that he generated, I can’t help but stand in awe and amazement.

Awe and amazement that Obama is the BEST the Democrats can find to represent their party.

It is like having a five-year-old baby sit your three-year-old.

But at least Obama has a great speach.

Thanks. B^)

Also, Obama’s idea of an energy policy if for American’s to inflate their tires. He thinks that will generate 5 million barrels of oil. That seems illogical.

McCain - Feed the rich, "who's poor"?

all I see in my mind is when i think obama:higher taxes, no experience, change, young.
biden:the bill that would give 1,000,000,000,000 dollars to the fbi to monitor p2p networking.

mccain:war veteran,Lots of experience, true to promises.
Palin:Young, medicare, knows the average person

Palin couldn't handle the job.

and that's based on what?

obama couldn't handle the job, so can't Biden.

Based on what? For starters, no experience, and the BIG one,... how can you tell me honestly that a new mayor in Alaska, not even part of the continental U.S., could know ANYTHING about medicare? PLUS,the only war experience McCain has is as a prisoner. We don't need to be prisoners like him.

Are you really that ignorant to call mccain "just a prisoner" and that a governer couldn't know any about medicare?

"for starters, no experience" sounds a lot like obama now doesn't it?

Palin and mccain basicly have the same amount of experience.

Mccain didn't go up to the recuiruters office and say "I'd like to be a POW", he fought and was captured. but that doesn't mean that he didn't fight as bravely as other nam vets.

you would rather have a man who supports higher taxes, was accused of being muslim, and has no experience. with a vice president that would spend a billion dollars just to know what you do on your computer... than Mccain and palin.

- National hero POW
- Works with both sides of the aisle
- Conservative socially IE: Pro-life, pro-gun etc.
- Strong on National security.
- Experienced by far more then the others
- Wants to end illegal immigration
- Wants to build the fence that he originally did not agree with because the people asked for it.
- Wants to keep the Bush tax cuts
- Wants to end "pork barrel" spending
- Wants to reduce entitlements (government give-aways)
- Is probably the best representative of what main stream America wants.
- Will responsibly end the war in Iraq. He is committed to staying so that there is not a civil war like the one in Darfur.
- He is for affordable health care, not Socialized medicine

-National hero? POW- yes- does not qualify for president.

-Works with both sides of the aisle-false voted with Bush over 90% of the time.

-Conservative socially IE: Pro-life, pro-gun etc.- as opposed to pro choice #1 answer!

-Experienced by far more then the others- true but only in old politics that no longer work!

-Wants to end illegal immigration- WRONG! he wants to legalize illegals to collect tax dollars!-

-Wants to build the fence that he originally did not agree with because the people asked for it.- this is known as political flip-flopping!

-Wants to keep the Bush tax cuts-True it does not help the middle class!

-Wants to end "pork barrel" spending- By spending a billion dollars a day for the next 100 years in Iraq?

-Wants to reduce entitlements (government give-aways) Same as above!

-Is probably the best representative of what main stream America wants- What pools have you been watching? Obama is in the lead as of date

-Will responsibly end the war in Iraq.- He is committed to staying so that there is not a civil war like the one in Darfur.- What? He has always maintained to stay in Iraq for as long as the next 100 years! Obama is the guy with the end the war resposibly logo! Check facts

He is for affordable health care, not Socialized medicine- exactly what affordable health care do you mean? he voted in favor and used medical insurance campaign funds for his current election.

Wow talk about miss-led

please, you just speild liberal mouth jibberish all over the forum.

lots of presidents were in the army.
voted the same as bush on issues but didn't 'side' with bush.

'you don't know what conservative is do you?no abortion

true but only in old politics that no longer work-like how in the 1940s, a penny could buy a pencil or a nickle could buy an icecream. yeah, those days sure didn't work out, I love today that i can go out and spend 5 dollars on icecream and 87 dollars on gas as opposed to 15 at the most

WRONG! he wants to legalize illegals to collect tax dollars-your serverly misinformed. he wants to stop more from coming in, but legalize the ones here already.
this is known as political flip-flopping!-thx capt obvious

True it does not help the middle class!-erhm, so i guess higer taxes would help?

By spending a billion dollars a day for the next 100 years in Iraq?- as opposed to another 9/11, or civil war breaking out in iraq? its more like a billion dollars for saving lives, or a billion dollars to invade your privacy.

What pools have you been watching? Obama is in the lead as of date-well, I watch polls, not pools. And the polls you most likely watch are representative related not popular voted which has a huge effect on the representative's vote.

Sorry geniegi, but Republicans and change do not belong in the same sentence. They are also know as conservatives for a reason. They prefer to keep things like "the good ol days"

To quote Peter Griffin "Hey lois look, the two symbols of the republican party, an elephant and a fat white guy who is threatened by change."
