Mccain had a tough choice. He need someone, that would rival his opponet's image: Young, Caring, Change.

Sarah Palin, Is the youngest in the campaign, only 3 years younger than obama. She has child with downs sydrome, which means she is for more med-care and benefits for the average person. And to top it off, fixing the economy. She also has a chance to sway hiliary clinton voters who were still wanting her to run.

this serverly changes mccain's campaign image, from being old, to young and energized.

with the polls going inch by inch of leads this promises to be one of the most closest races ever.

Brilliant. She has more experience than Obama in elected office. She just took Ohio, Penn, Michigan , Iowa and maybe California from Obama. Did you hear the air sucked out of the Obama room and Roman stage.?

All we need now is a midget for this circus act.

I agree with Truth Guy with the experience factor. I think that we will learn more about Gov. Palin as time goes by.

at least she was mayor of a town of 9000, that should work well on foreign affairs, and fixing the trillion dollar deficit, and ending the war.

She's okay, but presidential material? I think not.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think Sarah is a terrific choice for McCain. She is very intelligent and has a lot of experience in world events (more than Obama does). She is more qualified than Obama by far.

Lets not forget what the job of the VP can turn into. At this point in time she is no where close to being able to step in if needed. That was a big Republican issue with Edwards in the 2004 election. As far as being more qualified than Obama, have her point out where Iraq is, bet she can't find it.

First of all, I think Sarah was a chess play. It seems as if all of this election has been let's outwit each other. One point that I want to make is that McCain is up in age and if he should die (god forbid) She would be president. She has a teenage daughter who is pregnant a husband who is a drunk a a child with downs syndrome. How will she be able to run our country. At least with Barak Obama, he is young and Senator Bidden has some experience. I will cast my vote for Obama.

I believe that the next important step for Sarah is as president...women are always better at pushing to get things done...remember the "honey do" lists? And I bet she knows exactly where Iraq is, her first born son, Track, is headed in that direction...any GOOD mother can tell you where their son is going under those circumstances. Don't ever kid yourself!!
